Jacqueline Laurita Gushes Over Grandson But Looks Forward To More ‘RHONJ’ Drama

Jacqueline Laurita started this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey with a daughter who was happily dating a new guy named Pete. Jacqueline was surprised when he asked her to help him out in finding a ring for her daughter. Over the past several years, Laurita’s daughter hadn’t brought someone home, and Jacqueline was thrilled that her daughter had finally found someone for her. Little did she know at the time, but Ashlee was probably already pregnant with her son. As fans will see on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she will announce her pregnancy to her family.

According to a new Bravo report, Jacqueline Laurita is now revealing that she’s loving her new role as a grandmother. Her grandson decided to arrive about two and a half weeks before his actual due date, so Laurita rushed to be by her daughter’s side in the hospital. Within hours of being the birth, Jacqueline shared pictures of the baby on social media. And while she’s starring on a hit reality show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she can’t stop gushing about her grandson.

“Seriously, all I can focus on right now is my brand new grandbaby! My daughter gave birth to little Cameron Hendrix Malleo on August 30th! Weighing in at 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 inches long! He was about 2 1/2 weeks early! 23 hours of labor and a little over an hour of pushing before we welcomed this beautiful blessing into this world! I was right there in the delivery room with Ashlee and Pete! What a glorious day and beautiful sight to see! I am over the moon in love already! We all can’t stop staring at his little precious face! There is so much joy in our house right now. Nothing else matters,” Jacqueline Laurita reveals in her blog for Bravo, revealing that she’s been preoccupied with taking care of the new baby.

Since the filming has wrapped for this particular season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fans will have to wait until next season to see what happens with the new baby boy. But Jacqueline seems very excited for what this particular season of the show has to offer. Thus far, Laurita and Teresa Giudice have agreed to get along, even though they have their differences. Jacqueline really wants Teresa to admit to her being a criminal and breaking the law, while Giudice just wants to move forward with her life. Even though these two get along now, it’s clear that drama will soon come to New Jersey again based on the preview for the rest of the season. And it sounds like Laurita is excited about it.

“What you saw of me on the show this week was pretty self explanatory. Hope you enjoyed it! The previews for the upcoming season look AMAZING!” Jacqueline Laurita added in her short blog for this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, adding, “There’s a lot going on, so you better tune in! I’m surprised our ratings have been so good considering our competition with the Olympics and the VMAs! It shows how much you all are invested in our show. We do appreciate the support you give us. Thank you all so much!”

In the preview for the rest of the season, Jacqueline Laurita is caught yelling at someone, screaming that they were a criminal. Given how things have already played out between Laurita and Teresa this season, it is possible that she completely flips out at Teresa. According to People, Jacqueline has already been upset with Melissa Gorga and her sister-in-law once, so it may not be surprising if it happens again.
