Bachelor Nation Reacts To ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Engagements: What Are The Couples Future Plans?
Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise came to an end last night when not one, but three couples took the plunge and became engaged. Only one of the final four couples left Paradise with a broken heart. In a very emotional moment, newly named Bachelor star Nick Viall decided to end things with Jen Saviano at the final rose ceremony. The other three remaining couples left Paradise happily engaged. Those couples are Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton, Carly Waddell and Evan Bass and Grant Kemp and Lace Morris.
Bachelor Nation took to social media after the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise aired to express their feelings about the engagements and the specific couples. Actor and singer Donnie Wahlberg took to Twitter to share his love for Paradise and his thoughts on a few of the couples.
Wahlberg said, “Okay so this Grant dude seems like such a nice guy! Totally teared up again, during his proposal! hahaha!”
He admitted he also teared up during the Carly and Evan proposal. He even joked around about Josh Murray’s moaning as he offered Amanda his final rose.
He ended by saying, “Love this show!”
"Amanda, will you accept my final Rose… moan… groan… grunt… sweat… grunt… groan?".
Love this show! #BachelorInParadise

Wahlberg was not the only one to express his love for the new couples. Many Bachelor alumni and producer Elan Gale took to social media as well to share their congrats and thoughts about the ending of Paradise. Everyone seems to be excited for all these new relationships, especially Evan and Carly. In a poll shared live on After Paradise, fans overwhelmingly voted that they are most hoping to see these two head down the aisle first. Their relationship had a rocky start, but after heading to the hospital with an infection, Evan won Carly’s affection.
Fans are hoping this quirky couple makes it down the aisle. Waddell shared with Glamour the moment she knew Evan was the one for her. She credits the hospital trip and the time they had off camera with helping her realize her feelings for him were stronger than she first wanted to admit.
She said, “I’m super in love!”
Carly revealed she has met his children since leaving Paradise and is slowly moving things into his place. Waddell also shared that she and Bass actually only lived seven minutes away from each other in Nashville.
Love your story@carlywaddell & @ebassclinics ! Congratulations you frickin lovebirds! ????????????

Fans were also excited for the other two couples that formed in Paradise. Grant and Lace, who got matching “grace” tattoos, are also a popular couple. They had their ups and downs but always came out stronger than ever. The two have already began moving forward with their future. Lace has moved to California to be with Grant. She joked around on After Paradise that Kemp is now known as the “Lace whisperer.” The two are not planning a long engagement and want to get married sooner rather than later.
The other couple to walk away from Bachelor in Paradise happily engaged is Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton. This couple admitted last night they have not been so great at hiding their relationship. They have been spotted numerous times together in public, and Us Weekly confirmed prior to the finale that Amanda and Josh are already living together in California. Despite the warnings fellow Paradise contestants gave Amanda, she is happy and in love. She said she chooses to look past all that and focus on what she knows and sees in Josh. Her children also reportedly love Josh and they are ready to begin their lives together as a family.
Guys, I'm really happy! Thank you so much for all the love and support tonight?? #BachelorInParadise

The season finale of Bachelor in Paradise just aired last night, and the new couples are getting used to the fact they can share their love with the world. Time will tell if any or all of these couples will survive outside of Paradise and make it down the aisle. They are all optimistic and have plans to move forward. Carly Waddell has even already secured her first bridesmaid, former Paradise contestant Jade Roper Tolbert. While the sun has set in Paradise for the season, the future looks bright for these three couples. Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise will return to ABC next summer with all new couples forming and hoping for forever.
