Josh Murray And Amanda Stanton Headed For A Split? ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Stars Have ‘Broken Up A Couple Times’

Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise came to a not-so-shocking conclusion Tuesday night.

Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton have been a solid couple on the show and as many fans predicted, they were one of the three couples that got engaged during the season finale.

Although Murray and Stanton have flaunted their relationship outside of the show, is there a possibility that they are headed for an emotional breakup?

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Murray went ahead and popped the question during the Bachelor in Paradise season finale. However, their romance isn’t without a good share of controversy.

Entertainment Tonight is even reporting that the couple has split a few times since the finale was filmed back in June.

“Josh and Amanda are still engaged, but it’s been a tough road,” an insider explained to ET. “They have broken up a couple times since getting home and have had a rough start to their relationship.”

“Part of it, in the beginning, was the distance, and the other part was added pressures like dating in the ‘real world,'” the source added.

As fans will recall, Murray starred on The Bachelorette and won Andi Dorfman’s final rose. The two got engaged during the season finale, but their engagement was short-lived.

Less than a year after agreeing to tie the knot, Murray and Dorfman parted ways. While Murray went on to find love in Bachelor in Paradise, Dorfman wrote a scathing memoir about their relationship.

Not only did Dorfman refer to her romance with Murray as the worst relationship of her life, but International Business Times is reporting that she accused him of being verbally and emotionally abusive.

“I was disgusted with myself for what I put up with. I was a strong, independent woman and I allowed [Josh] to be [emotionally abusive],” Dorfman shared. “Now, I know I don’t want someone jealous or controlling. I know what won’t make me happy in [the future].”

Josh Murray has since denied the allegations.

For her part, Stanton had a very different road to Bachelor in Paradise.

During Ben Higgins’ run on The Bachelor, Stanton made it all the way to the hometown dates before Higgins gave her the boot.

Before she left, the single mom won over fans and arrived on Bachelor in Paradise as “America’s Sweetheart.”

Stanton first hit it off with Nick Viall – the next Bachelor – before Murray entered the show and won her over.

Of course, Viall and other Bachelor in Paradise stars tried to warn Stanton about Murray’s dark past. Unfortunately, Stanton ignored their warnings and looks more than happy to be starting a life with Murray.

In fact, Murray and Stanton have been spotted together in public on numerous occasions. Murray is also reportedly living with Stanton in her California home.

So far, Murray has yet to display the abusive side that Dorfman outlined in her book.

Along with denying Dorfman’s allegations, Murray admitted that he is completely in love with Stanton.

“Amanda is an amazing woman. She is the best woman I’ve ever met in my entire life. She’s beautiful not only on the outside, but it radiates on the inside, and that’s what I love the most about her.”

Murray also sees his romance with Stanton as being completely different than his relationship with Dorfman.

“I think most importantly I’ve learned what I don’t want in a life partner and I really learned what I do want. When I’m with Amanda, it’s a total 180 than it was before,” he stated. “She is just so genuine and so sweet. You just know when you’re with her how much love she has and I trust her wholeheartedly.”

According to Daily Mail, Murray is also looking forward to meeting Stanton’s kids. Is this a clear sign that the newly engaged couple will actually wed?

“I cannot wait to meet her kids,” he said. “I’ve been begging this whole time. I wish they would fly them out here but we’re gonna try and set something up as soon as possible when I get back.”
