‘The 100’ Season 4: Will Bellamy Sacrifice Himself To Save Octavia? [Theory]
The 100 Season 4 will not air new episodes for several months. However, fans have been busy creating theories and speculating on what will happen next. Even though Bellamy and Octavia have a complicated relationship and she wrote him off, could the two reconcile? In the end, will Bellamy sacrifice himself to save his sister from the second apocalypse?

Last season, Bellamy (Bob Morley) made a mistake when he decided to join Pike’s (Michael Beach) anti-Grounder mission. Pike knew that Bellamy was vulnerable and angry after losing his girlfriend. He also knew that it was the perfect opportunity to offer a piece of revenge to Bellamy in The 100.
However, things got out of control and it eventually led to the hundreds of Grounders losing their lives. It also resulted in Lincoln’s (Ricky Whittle) death, something that Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) hasn’t forgiven him for.
When Season 4 premieres, what will happen with Bellamy and Octavia, especially now that a nuclear disaster is headed their way? In an interview with TV Insider, Bob Morley hopes that the Blake siblings talk to each other like brother and sister. In the past, Bellamy tried to control Octavia, which only caused her to pull away. However, when speaking to IGN, Marie Avgerpoulos wanted Octavia to go rogue and be out on her own for a while. Is there any hope for Bellamy and Octavia in The 100?
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a nuclear disaster is headed to Earth. A.L.I.E. (Erica Cerra) told Clarke (Eliza Taylor) that 96 percent of the world will be uninhabitable. That means there are only a few places that will be safe from the second apocalypse. At Comic-Con 2016, executive producer Jason Rothenberg teased that there are not enough lifeboats. This seems to imply that some of the characters will travel over water to find safety. However, not everyone will be able to go. That means someone will have to decide who gets a chance to live. That individual will also decide who dies in The 100 Season 4.

Bellamy will do anything for his sister and is desperate to make things right with her. Unfortunately, Lincoln was executed and there is no bringing him back. Avgeropoulos teased to Showbiz Junkies that Octavia will be a killing machine in Season 4. That is what she is good at. That was also hinted by The 100 Writers Room Instagram account, in which she was called “Ninja Octavia.”
Octavia’s anger runs so deep that nothing can make her forgive Bellamy, not even the end of the world. Will she finally forgive Bellamy if he sacrifices his own life to save her? Will he give up his place on a lifeboat and put her on it instead? It sounds like something Bellamy would do. Bob Morley explained to TV Insider that his character always tries to make the right choices. When he is wrong, he feels tremendous guilt. Instead of making a rational decision about how to fix things, Bellamy tends to go to extremes.
“Season 2 Bellamy spent a lot of time being the action man and doing the right thing—I think he was just trying to redeem himself for throwing away the radio and killing all those kids’ parents in Season 1. That guilt made him go, ‘OK, I’m just going to sacrifice myself and go into Mount Weather and try to do everything right.’ Then Pike came along this year with a philosophy that was similar to how Bellamy felt about the Grounders in the beginning.”
Bellamy knows he made the ultimate mistake when he followed Pike, but nothing he says will take back Lincoln’s execution. In The 100, Octavia’s forgiveness may come only after a huge sacrifice, one in which Bellamy gives up his own life so his little sister can have a chance to live.
