Bethenny Frankel Leaving The ‘RHONY’ Again? Sources Claim She Is ‘Distancing’ Herself From Her Costars
Will Bethenny Frankel’s comeback be short lived?
The Real Housewives of New York star is reportedly unhappy with how things unfolded in Season 8 and might be ready to call it quits. Will she part ways with the hit reality show for the second time?
According to Us Weekly, Frankel has put some distance between herself and her co-stars following the end of Season 8.
“I’ve been definitely distancing myself from the show this summer,” Frankel admitted. “It was a long year – it’s definitely work. I’m glad that the audience is enjoying it, but I’ve left it behind.”
Apart from all the drama on RHONY this season, Frankel was particularly torn up by the reunion that was filmed this summer. In fact, the reality star admitted that things took an ugly turn during the reunion.
“It was very, very negative and I didn’t enjoy it at all. Something very dramatic happened … that questioned my integrity. If someone questions my business or my integrity I take it really seriously — I don’t just gloss over it,” Frankel explained. “So I think that maybe the fun and light Bethenny that people expect, with the quips and the comebacks weren’t there.”
Frankel added that she doesn’t appreciate how other ladies on the show aren’t completely honest. This lack of trust is at the core of Frankel’s decision to end her time on the show.

“You have 50 percent of the cast that has a whole taboo, police line, ‘do not cross’ section of their life that is not discussed on camera and never has been. For legal issues and liability issues, Bravo doesn’t need to bring it up and it’s a difficult line to ride, and that may be why I don’t come back,” she stated.
ET Online is reporting that Frankel quit RHONY back in Season 3, only to return to Bravo’s hit show in 2014.
Although Bethenny Frankel has put up a wall between her and the show, she has continued her friendship with Carole Radziwill.
Frankel had a rough go this season and managed to pick a fight with just about all of her RHONY co-stars.
Not only did she stir up the drama with newbie Jules Wainstein, but she didn’t hold back with Luann de Lesseps, whom she labeled a “slut, liar, and hypocrite.”
According to Radar Online, de Lesseps fired back by bringing up Frankel’s messy divorce from Jason Hoppy.

After going back and forth, de Lesseps accused Frankel of being a hypocrite and slammed her for dating a married man.
“You’re going out with a married man,” de Lesseps told Frankel. “She was going out with him for a while he was still married and I know this has been going on for a long time. Everybody knows.”
Hollywood Take is reporting that Frankel is currently dating Dennis Shields and might be gearing up for a wedding.
Frankel recently shared a picture on Instagram that featured a massive diamond ring, although Frankel later denied an engagement.
Meanwhile, when it comes to Wainstein, Frankel bashed her for being too thin and wasn’t afraid to dish on her divorce during the reunion.
Given Frankel’s feud with the other ladies, it isn’t surprising that she’s considering leaving the show for good.
While Frankel distances herself from her co-stars, she plans to use her time off by focusing on promoting her brand, Skinnygirl.
“This is just a summer of freedom and doing what I want to do and definitely making some changes in my personal and professional life,” she stated. “I just launched a new watermelon-lime margarita with my new cocktail partners, so I’m deciding what my priorities are and how to lay it out.”
In addition to her new cocktail, Frankel is busy with her own radio show and production company.
Fans can watch the drama unfold when new episodes of the Real Housewives of New York air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
