Song Hye-kyo To Attend Song Joong-ki’s Birthday Bash On September 19?
This September, a double treat awaits the fans of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, the South Korean actors who stole the show in K-drama Descendants of the Sun.
For the past few days, the hashtag #dotsdoubledate has been trending on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

From the looks of it, it seems like Song Song fans will get to see their favorite couple under the same roof twice: On September 8 during the Hallyu awards ceremony and on September 19 during Song Joong-ki’s birthday bash.
This Thursday, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo will meet for the Hallyu awards ceremony, along with the cast and crew of Descendants of the Sun. For Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, it’s a perfect platform for a lovely reunion with their co-actors and crew of Descendants of the Sun.
However, fans of the Song Song couple see this as an opportunity to unearth a romance that has not yet been made public. To them, the event throws an opportunity to watch the off-screen chemistry between Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo.

According to a report by TheInquisitr, the last time the Song Song couple held hands was during the Baeksang awards in June. The duo looked like a page from a fairy tale. Fans started comparing them to the prince and princess, and they wear not wrong. While Song Joong-ki was handsomely dressed in a black tuxedo, Song Hye-kyo wore a white ballgown.
Fans went berserk when the couple got out of their limo.
The second meeting of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo will take place on September 19 during the actor’s birthday celebrations.
There has been no official confirmation of the birthday party or the venue. Fans, however, are waiting with bated breath for a word from Song Joong-ki’s agency Blossom Entertainment.
The fact of the matter is that Song Joong-ki’s birthday could either be a big bash at a posh locale or a private affair with a few good friends. Either way, common sense dictates that Song Hye-kyo will make it to Song Joong-ki’s big day.
From the looks of it, actress Song Hye-kyo began the gifting ritual a month early. On August 21, the actress sent a Coffee Pong truck to the sets of Battleship Island. This movie stars her rumored boyfriend Song Joong-ki, who plays a prominent role in the movie.
The truck sign read, “Song Joong Ki, ‘Battleship Island’ Staff, Stay Strong!” These words of encouragement come a time when Hallyu is banned in China, the country that generates lot of revenue for Korean entertainment.
Perhaps Song Joong-ki would have shared his doubts and fears to Song Hye-kyo about the Hallyu ban. Perhaps cheering him up with a cup of freshly brewed hot coffee was Song Hye-kyo’s way of saying all is well. Either way, it was a meaningful gift that would have made Song Joong-ki feel better.
Despite these gestures that are seemingly romantic, both Song joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo have always denied rumors that they are seeing each other.
Song Joong-ki recently told Soompi that, even if he were in a relationship, he would make sure he kept it under wraps.
“I have no plans to go public if I get into a relationship. I will do my best to safeguard the privacy of the person I love and respect her feelings. I may also want to keep the [relationship] a secret,” said Song Joong-ki.
Only time will tell if Korean superstars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo are indeed in a relationship. Perhaps the announcement of the Song Song couple getting together would be the best birthday gift of all.
