Abigail Breslin Slams Gold’s Gym For Body Shaming, Paired With Taylor Lautner In ‘Scream Queens’
Abigail Breslin has criticized a body shaming ad by a gym in Egypt, according to Allure. The 20-year-old Maggie actress didn’t like Gold’s Gym’s idea to feature an image of a pear along with the line, “This is no shape for a girl.”
Apparently, Abigail Breslin disagrees with the tagline used by Gold’s Gym sub-franchise in Cairo, Egypt. But the Little Miss Sunshine actress is far from the only one who wasn’t happy about the ad, as the parent company of Cairo’s franchise also publicly denounced the ad.
Gold’s Gym Dreamland posted a statement on their official Facebook page, saying that their goal was to make people “feel empowered by fitness, not intimidated or ashamed by it.” But Abigail Breslin and many other women around the world still cannot accept this ad, saying that the ad is a clear example of body shaming.
Abigail Breslin took to her Instagram account to say she was “honestly disgusted” by the ad, and added that Gold’s Gym Dreamland should be ashamed of themselves.
“Working out should be something you do for yourself, your health, and your mind & body, not cuz [sic] a corporation declares your body shape isn’t what girls should look like.”
But the sexist ad by Gold’s Gym Dreamland didn’t infuriate only Abigail Breslin, as many other social media users also said there are no “perfect” or “acceptable” body shapes. But the parent company was quick to say it wasn’t responsible for what their franchises are doing with their advertising campaigns.
In other news, Abigail Breslin is romancing with Twilight star Taylor Lautner on the new season of Scream Queens, according to Hollywood Life. A new teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of Ryan Murphy’s show was recently released, and the two are seen getting quite cozy together.
John Stamos, best known for his role in Full House, and Lautner are the upcoming season’s newcomers to the show, while Abigail Breslin, Emma Roberts, and Billie Lourd are all returning to the hit Fox series as the three Chanels.

In the trailer, Lautner plays the role of a sexy doctor, and Abigail Breslin is his sexy patient. And not only does Dr. Lautner treat his patient from illnesses, but also treats her to some hot pleasure. The trailer also captures the introduction of Hannibal Hester.

In the trailer for Season 2, which debuts on Fox on September 20, the three Chanels (Abigail Breslin, Roberts, and Lourd) are seen wheeled on gurneys in a hospital, while Keke Palmer (who starred in Season 1), Stamos and Lautner are wheeling the Chanels down the dark and obscure hallways.
But no, the Chanels are not wheeled towards their death or anything scary like that, as Abigail Breslin’s character is lucky to have Lautner be the one who’s wheeling her. The duo gets into a separate room and start hooking up.
Lourd’s character, meanwhile, is taken into another room, and she is seen pulling Stamos’ character down toward her. But Abigail Breslin and Lourd’s unexpectedly erotic scenes are nothing compared to what happens to Roberts’ character, whose gurney suddenly stops and Keke says, “Rise and shine, sis.”
Jamie Lee Curtis, who played the university dean in Season 1, plays the role of this naughty hospital owner. And she is the one who reveals the Roberts’ character’s nemesis named Hester, played by Lea Michele.
Michele was the one who shared the trailer on her Instagram account last week. Scream Queens Season 2, which sees the return of Abigail Breslin, Roberts, Lourd and many others, will debut on September 20. Get ready for the scary yet naughty season!
