Are Fifth Harmony on the verge of a breakup?
Fans of the band have been taking to social media to speculate that a split could be in the cards after Camila Cabello left the stage early during the band’s recent “7/27 Tour” stop at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Missouri, on September 2.
As reported by Perez Hilton , Camila left the concert part way through and failed to return, leaving Fifth Harmony fans to speculate that a breakup could be could be coming sooner rather than later.
“So this means we’re less than 2 months away from a breakup and a Camila solo album,” Twitter user @jcammusic tweeted out after Camila left the stage during the concert, while @ordinalscale speculated on the social media site, “[Fifth Harmony] are gonna break up soon anyways none of them truly like each other & Camila been thinking about going solo since they formed.”
“My bet is that Fifth Harmony will break up by November or Camila will leave,” Fifth Harmony fan @cryinglaurmaniwrote, and @taynementclaimed on the 140-character site that “Fifth Harmony is due for a breakup.”
Notably, New York Daily News revealed that Camila took to Snapchat following Fifth Harmony’s September 2 gig to tell fans that she couldn’t return to the stage because she was dealing with severe “anxiety,” but this certainly isn’t the first time fans have speculated that a Fifth Harmony breakup is on the way.
The Fifth Harmony girls have long been plagued with split and feud rumors. A Dose of Sass most recently claimed, just days before Cabello was absent in Missouri, that her bandmates were “frustrated” with her plans to continue her solo career following the success of her duet with Shawn Mendes, “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
The site claimed that Camila supposedly turned up late to an MTV Video Music Awards after party on August 28, where Fifth Harmony took home two moonmen, only to find her bandmates leaving as soon as she arrived.
“At the Republic Records after party, the group did not seem so harmonious,” the site claimed of Fifth Harmony’s interaction at the party, hinting at a potential feud. “Four members of the band showed up, Camila was missing. Then at 2:30 a.m. Camila walks in and the other four leave.”
Fifth Harmony have neither confirmed nor denied the latest reports of an in-band feud and tension, though the breakup rumors have swirled around the girls for months, with many fans pointing the finger at Camila Cabello for what they feel could be the band’s impending split.
Camila’s Fifth Harmony bandmates have been spotted partying without her on a number of occasions before A Dose Of Sass’s recent VMAs claim, as the girls recently celebrated the Fourth of July without Cabello, who instead stayed back at the group’s hotel to work on what’s thought to be solo music.

Perez Hilton reported that Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui took to Snapchat to post photos of videos of the group celebrating Independence Day together while on tour in Brazil, though Camila instead took to the social media site to tell fans that she was back at the hotel and hard at work.
“My lil studio I’ve been stuck in all day,” Camila captioned a photo of her makeshift studio, while her bandmates uploaded snaps and video of themselves dancing and partying as a foursome.
Normani also appeared to allude to a feud within the band back in August after fans pointed out that she struggled to find a compliment for Cabello during a quickfire interview.
The Fifth Harmony star quickly described Ally Brooke as “Sunshine,” Dinah Jane as a “turn up queen” and Lauren Jauregui as Fifth Harmony’s “therapist,” but then appeared to hesitate before eventually calling Cabello “quirky” and “cute.”
Just weeks earlier, the Fifth Harmony breakup rumors swirled once again after Lauren’s mom Clara appeared to slam Cabello’s manager after he failed to mention her Fifth Harmony bandmates when discussing her Much Music Video Award wins.
“SO proud of @camilacabello97 who won 4 #MMVAs last night,” Camila’s manager Roger Gold tweeted alongside a photo of Camila accepting her awards, including two with Fifth Harmony and two with Shawn Mendes for “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
The message clearly didn’t sit too well with Jauregui’s mother, who then slammed the manager for ignoring the other girls in a tweet that has since been deleted.
“Lets get it right 2 were thanks to [Fifth Harmony]. Just keeping it real” Jauregui’s mom replied , suggesting that there could be tension within the band.
