‘The Flash’ Season 3: Five Questions Fans Need Answered After Season Premiere
Season 3 of The Flash is now only one month away. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the season premiere in anticipation of seeing the “Flashpoint” storyline on TV. For those not familiar with the Flashpoint story, Barry goes back in time to stop the Reverse Flash from killing his mom. This act creates an alternate timeline where Barry is not the Flash.
The TV version that we are going to see will be different than the comic book version and the animated movie. The main reason it will be different is based on the Season 3 trailer. The trailer gives us a sneak peek at what the new timeline will look like since Barry saved his mother at the end of Season 2. Based on the trailer, fans are asking questions that they hope will be answered after the first episode of Season 3 is over.
How Many Episodes Will The Flashpoint Story Be?
The crew of The Flash is being quiet about how many episodes it will take to cover their version of Flashpoint. Fans believe and hope that they will not try and rush Flashpoint to fit in just the season premiere.

Cisco is one of the most beloved characters on The Flash. In the main timeline, Cisco is responsible for making all the technology that Team Flash uses. He is obviously one of the smartest people on the show. His best trait, however, is not his intelligence but his sense of humor. Cisco can be counted on to quote random movies and come up with the names of all the metahumans in Central City. In the trailer, in the Flashpoint timeline, Cisco is shown to be the richest man in the United States. It is not hard to believe that he generated his wealth by creating many of the technological enhancements that this world has.

How Will Flashpoint Impact The Other Shows On The CW?
The CW has created an entire universe with The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and now Supergirl. Supergirl moved from CBS to the CW after just one season. During the crossover episode where Flash goes to the Earth where Supergirl is from, fans quickly realized that Supergirl was not actually in the same universe as the other three shows. Something will have to happen where Supergirl’s Earth merges with the universe of The Flash.
During San Diego’s Comic-Con, it was confirmed that the new timeline created by Flash will impact the other three shows. Producers of the shows were careful to not give away just how much of an impact Flashpoint will have on the other shows. One thing we do know is that there is going to be a major crossover event with all four shows. Stephen Amell, the star of Arrow, tweeted out a picture of five pairs of feet. In the picture, it can be determined that Green Arrow, Flash, White Canary, Supergirl, and Atom were all on set together.

It has been confirmed that Savitar will be the main speedster villain in Season 3. Having already had two speedsters be the villain in the first two seasons, fans are curious as to how Savitar can offer anything different than what fans have already seen.
The executive producer of The Flash, Todd Helbing, spoke with IGN about how Savitar will be different.
“Savitar is more of a psychological villain in a weird way. I think the Hindu word for Savitar means God of Speed; he’s all about speed. Everything about this guy is different. I can’t go into super detail, but he’s not like Zoom or Reverse Flash.”

Tom Cavanaugh is arguably the most talented actor on The Flash. He has played two different versions of Harrison Wells in the first two seasons. His character was not shown at all in the Season 3 trailer. It has been confirmed that Wells will be on the show in Season 3, but it has not been stated as to which Harrison Wells he will play or if he will be a new version of Wells that we have not seen yet.
