Love And Hip Hop Hollywood: Fetty Wap Tells Masika Kalysha That He Wants To Be An Active Father

Fetty Wap appears on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood to discuss his child with a then-pregnant Masika Kalysha.

In the latest episode, Fetty Wap goes see Masika during a break his has from his tour. A pregnant Masika reveals that she has mixed emotions about Fetty coming to see her. The 25-year-old rapper reveals that he wants to be an active father and wants his unborn daughter to recognize him when she gets older.

Masika then asks Fetty what made him change his mind, and he admits that “he had to man up.”

He then thanks her for accepting the meeting, and Masika states the following in the video above:

“I don’t think that he can ever fully understand how stressful he has made the whole situation and how dark it’s gotten for me, but the fact that he’s even acknowledging it is very helpful, so we’ll see.”

Ms. Kalysha revealed that she couldn’t have a conversation with her child’s father without them cussing at each other, and she then reveals that she won’t make things difficult for him.

Fetty will have the opportunity to see his daughter as much as he wants and she wants them to improve their relationship.

The “Trap Queen” rapper initially denied that the child was his and suggested that Masika set him up.

Masika gave a different account during a Breakfast Club interview where she tells the radio hosts that she met with Fetty to pay him to record a song with her.

She also revealed that her relationship with Fetty Wap was not a one-night stand, and they spent a lot of time with each other, according to the International Business Times:

“He left, went to his hotel, went home,” she told the radio host. “We started talking on FaceTime, and he ended up spending the whole week with me, everyday. I went to all the clubs he hosted, I went to the studio with him, I was at his concerts, and he actually didn’t do the record.”

The rapper was impressed and offered to do the song for free. The two developed a relationship, which led to her getting pregnant.

Masika claimed that the two were planning on getting a house together. However, she revealed that they have not been intimate since she got pregnant.

Ms. Kalysha also confirmed that Fetty Wap has since apologized for denying the relationship. During Masika’s Breakfast Club interview, Angela Yee brought up the fact that it is rare for a rapper of Fetty’s stature to appear on the show.

It was revealed in the interview that the rapper appeared on the show to support Masika, which is a sign that their relationship is better.

Masika also revealed that she has not gone to the court to demand child support as Fetty is willing to pay his share for raising his child.

It is unclear whether Fetty Wap has a guest role or reoccurring spot on this season of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood. However, due to his tour schedule, it is unlikely that you will see much of the rapper this season.

Fetty Wap reportedly has three children by three women. Masika told the Breakfast Club that Fetty buys all his baby mother’s houses and when they were in a relationship, he claimed that he was not seeing anyone else.

The New Jersey rapper burst onto the scene with the smash hit “Trap Queen” and followed up with two more hits.

Fetty Wap’s first album went number one on the Billboard 200, and his follow-up album is expected next year.

The former couple seems to be developing a healthy co-parenting relationship. However, you will have to tune into Love and Hip Hop Hollywood to see how things play out. The episode starring Fetty’s first appearance airs next week.
