‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Star Amanda Stanton Believes Andi Dorfman Is ‘Jealous’ And ‘Lying’ About Josh Murray Accusations
Amanda Stanton is firing back at Andi Dorfman.
The Bachelor in Paradise star recently slammed Dorfman for the allegations she made about Josh Murray in her tell-all memoir. Is this the start of another Bachelor feud?
Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Stanton believes Dorfman made false allegations against Murray because she is jealous of his time in the limelight.
Dorfman handed Murray her final rose on the 2014 season finale of The Bachelorette. Despite Murray’s proposal, their engagement only lasted several months before the couple decided to part ways.

In her book, titled It’s Not O.K.: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Ever After., Dorfman claims that Murray was both verbally and emotionally abusive.
While Murray has already denied everything Dorfman wrote about him, Stanton recently hit back by talking about her own interactions with Murray.
“He hasn’t been controlling. He’s definitely not abusive,” Stanton revealed. “We’re on a show where everyone is dating each other, so I think a little bit of jealousy is almost cute and flattering. Everyone’s a little bit jealous. I think that’s normal and natural, especially in the early stages of a relationship, but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary.”
Murray and Stanton are currently airing their romance on Bachelor in Paradise. While it still isn’t clear if Murray will propose to Stanton in the season finale, the two are still living together.
Of course, there is the possibility that Stanton has yet to see Murray’s true colors. After all, it took Dorfman a few months before she caught on and left Murray for good.
Will Murray’s relationship with Stanton suffer the same fate?
The biggest question remaining is whether or not Dorfman’s claims are accurate.
According to Hollywood Take, Dorfman’s memoir is not a work of fiction.
“I wrote a book that was true to me. For better or worse it was relatable and authentic, and that comes with controversy,” Dorfman admitted. “But I would rather be judged by my own words than judged by clips on TV.”
Murray has referred to Dorfman’s book as being fictional and made up this season on Bachelor in Paradise, which is something that Dorfman also hit on.
“The New York Times just called my book non-fiction. So I’m going with that!” she shared.
Dorfman’s book was released a few months ago, though Murray’s involvement in Bachelor in Paradise brought it back into the spotlight.

While promoting the release of her book, Dorfman admitted that Murray called her a “whore” and used her past sexual experiences against her.
“I was disgusted with myself for what I put up with,” she added. “I was a strong independent woman and I allowed [Josh] to be [emotionally abusive]. Now, I know I don’t want someone jealous or controlling. I know what won’t make me happy in [the future].”
After Murray arrived on set for Bachelor in Paradise, several of his castmates tried to warn Stanton about his shady past.
According to Pop Sugar, this includes Evan Bass, Nick Viall, and twins Emily and Hayley Ferguson, all of whom confronted Stanton about the allegations.
For his part, Murray continues to deny the stories in Dorfman’s book.
“I can’t comment on specific things in any kind of book that my ex has written because it’s a fictional story,” Murray said. “There’s stuff that’s so ludicrous — how do you comment on something like that?”
For now, it looks like Stanton believes Murray over everyone else. Whether or not that continues as more information is revealed is yet to be seen.
Meanwhile, People is reporting that Viall may have gotten the last laugh after all.
ABC just announced that Viall will be starring in the next season of The Bachelor, which marks his fourth time at finding love on reality TV.
