‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Sybil Wants Stefan For A Specific Reason — Matt’s Biological Father To Appear?
The Vampire Diaries is scheduled to return in a few months. What can fans expect in Season 8? Spoilers tease that Sybil is interested in Stefan Salvatore and it’s for a specific reason. Also, there are hints that Matt Donovan may meet his biological father.

As previously speculated by the Inquisitr, Sybil is the mystery monster that took over Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) in The Vampire Diaries. The character description for Sybil sounded so similar to the creature that was inside the Vault. That theory was confirmed by TV Guide. The publication also released other spoilers for Season 8, which concern Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig).
The website explained that The Vampire Diaries villain has the ability to see the evil that is inside of people. This is similar to what Matt Davis said to Entertainment Weekly. The actor stated that the monster knows your darkest secrets, even if you try to hide them.
The powerful supernatural creature in Season 8 of The Vampire Diaries is female and usually gets what she wants. When Sybil comes to town, she will decide that she wants Stefan. The reason is because Sybil can sense the Ripper within him. With Stefan and Caroline (Candice King) finally reconciling in the season finale, will their relationship be destroyed by Sybil? Fans are assured that “Steroline” will get to experience some happiness. However, how badly does Sybil want Stefan and what techniques will she use to get him? Will Caroline have any recourse? Or will the villain use her powers to separate the two lovers forever?
It should be noted that a June wedding for “Steroline” was teased. However, some TVD fans are concerned that the two won’t actually get to walk down the aisle.
TV Guide also revealed that in The Vampire Diaries Season 8, there will not be any flashbacks or flash forwards for the main part of the story. However, they could be used if it means seeing an old character one last time. When Julie Plec spoke to TV Line at Comic-Con 2016, she was determined to bring back everyone. The executive producer explained that she wants fans to say hello to some old characters and farewell to others.
New faces to expect in The Vampire Diaries Season 8 include Georgie (Allison Scagliotti), a research intern that is interested in her field because of her own dark past. There is also Seline (Kristen Gutoski), the nanny of Alaric and Caroline’s children and a potential love interest for the suddenly single father. Also, look forward to meeting Peter Maxwell (Joel Gretsch). He is simply described as a blue-collar worker who meets up with the child he abandoned. There is speculation that the child could be Matt Donovan.
TVD spoilers suggest that Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) may go after Damon and Enzo on her own. That has not been confirmed, but it does seem like something her character would do. Damon is her best friend and Damon has been called the love of her life. Besides losing these two people, Bonnie has also lost her magic. She is not going to be content sitting around and doing nothing. Bonnie will need to do something to find Damon and Enzo. However, will she put her own life in jeopardy trying to save others?
