Yes, there have been rose ceremony eliminations and over-the-top reactions that led to one cast member (Chad Johnson) being sent home. Others found the drama and “stupidity” of Bachelor In Paradise to simply be too much so they took off out of Mexico all on their own.
That leads to the season finale which will start off with the final five couples who are:
- Wells Adams and Ashley Iaconetti
- Nick Viall and Jen Saviano
- Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton
- Evan Bass and Carly Waddell
- Grant Kemp and Lace Morris.
Reality Steve reports that as soon as host Chris Harrison explains how serious they have to be about one another and the overnight dates coming forth, one couple is lost. Wells breaks up with Ashley and they both leave before having an overnight date so that’s one down.
That leads to the overnight dates for the other four couples, and those lead to the break-up of Nick and Jen. While some think they may not end up with the right amount of chemistry, Yahoo Beauty had confirmed that Nick will be the next lead on The Bachelor so he has other things to take care of.
With that, there are three couples left and they all end up engaged with their happily ever after.

That sounds…promising.
Yes, creator Mike Fleiss revealed earlier this summer that there would be “ multiple engagements ,” but of course, he wouldn’t reveal who they were. Now, it’s known that there will indeed be three engagements taking place on the season finale of BIP , but are they going to last?
As previously reported by Inquisitr , two of the couples were spotted out and about in public together which is a big “no-no” to ABC. Still, last known, Josh and Amanda were very happy together and one big happy family with her children in tow wherever they go.
Grant and Lace will get their matching “Grace” tattoos during their overnight date and seem happy together as well. The good thing for them is that those tattoos can be left as is and have meaning even if they split up.
Evan and Carly have not been spotted together in public, and there has been some talk that they may have split up already . Still, it appears more as if they are simply playing the game well and doing what needs to be done to keep things a secret.
While Carly and Evan weren’t spotted together, they did have pics on their Instagram accounts showing them in the same kitchen. That’s all that the fans of BIP needed to know their relationship status before the season finale even airs.
Bachelor In Paradise is one of those shows that people don’t necessarily love as much as The Bachelor or The Bachelorette , but they still can’t help but watch it. It’s almost like a car-wreck and fans find themselves not able to look away even though it is something you really shouldn’t look at for too long. The three remaining couples of the final five will end up engaged, but are there true wedding bells in their future? Only time will tell.
