Will ‘The Real Housewives of Dallas’ Be Renewed? Fans Are Waiting For Andy Cohen’s Answer
The Real Housewives of Dallas was announced last year alongside The Real Housewives of Potomac. The two new Real Housewives franchises were going to add something new and refreshing to the world of Real Housewives shows, as Bravo had decided to cancel both The Real Housewives of D.C. and The Real Housewives of Miami. Of course, some of the main cities keep pushing on, including Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Orange County, New York, and New Jersey. And more cities around the world are joining this successful franchise, including Melbourne and Auckland. And while that’s all great for the success of the franchise, fans want to know what is happening with The Real Housewives of Dallas.
If you scroll through Twitter using the hashtag #RHOD, you will quickly find people, who are reaching out to Andy Cohen to inquire about The Real Housewives of Dallas and a possible second season. And Bravo has been oddly quiet about this particular city. Potomac was quickly renewed for a second season, and they have been filming for a while. Given how the shows usually air during certain parts of year, one can imagine that Potomac will return late this year or early next year. And since the season may be extended from 10 episodes to 20 episodes, the filming time may require more time.

So, what about The Real Housewives of Dallas? The show started shortly after Potomac and wrapped after 10 episodes. And yet, Bravo has been oddly quiet about this particular show. Not a single word. Even the ladies from Dallas have revealed that they have not received contracts to film a second season.
“Is RHWOD coming back for season 2,” one person has inquired on Twitter, to which LeeAnne Locken from the show replied, “We are still waiting to hear… fingers crossed!!”

Some people are even reaching out to Andy Cohen to get some answers as to why the show has not been announced yet. A few months ago, Cohen revealed that they are looking at the city and the current selection of women to see if they can push forward with a new season of The Real Housewives of Dallas as it stands now.
“We’ve kind of taking a look at the women and the season, and figuring out how we move forward,” read a quote from Andy Cohen, which was a screenshot in a tweet, to which the caption read, “ANDY STATED THIS ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO HURRY UP BRAVO. YOU COULD ALREADY BE FILMING #RHOD.”

So, why the wait? Time wise, Bravo could be pushing the show a little so it airs in the spring instead of late winter. This would mean that production would probably start in the fall, making room for The Real Housewives of Potomac to wrap up first. Plus, Andy Cohen’s comment could hint that they are not happy with the current cast and they are exploring other options. But based on several tweets, it sounds like there’s plenty of drama happening with the current cast. Apparently, Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond are no longer best friends.
“Does anybody know what happened with Brandi & Steph? #RHOD why aren’t they friends anymore?” one person asked on Twitter, to which many people chimed in with theories as to why they don’t talk anymore.

“They won’t say but rumor has it that 1 of them got a big head after show aired. Brandi unfollowed Steph on Instagram,” one person tweeted, adding, “We drilled Steph on Twitter few nights ago and she won’t say anything.”
Sadly, there’s nothing to do but wait. Andy Cohen may not have the answers as to whether Bravo will push forward with another season of The Real Housewives of Dallas. But at least the ladies from Dallas are getting a warm welcome into the Real Housewives world, as Stephanie recently hung out with Jules Wainstein from The Real Housewives of New York, according to Reality Tea.
