Dorinda Medley Hints Cocaine Story Is False: Will Drug Rumors Cause Her To Leave ‘RHONY’?

Dorinda Medley may have been expecting plenty of drama during the Real Housewives of New York reunion special, but she may not have been expecting accusations that she does cocaine when she parties with her friend and her boyfriend, John Mahdessian. Dorinda admits that she does like a cocktail once in a while, and Bethenny Frankel has revealed that she has seen Medley get very drunk. Plus, over the past couple of years, Dorinda has been spotted slurring her words even though she doesn’t look intoxicated. And while all of the housewives could agree that perhaps Dorinda does do drugs, Medley is now speaking out about it. And she’s not happy with Sonja Morgan’s decision to call her a liar.

According to a new Bravo report, Dorinda Medley opens up in her blog about what went wrong at the reunion special and why she thinks she’s been accused of doing lines of cocaine when she’s partying with her friends. Medley reveals that she hadn’t even seen Sonja Morgan prior to filming this past season, as she was staying in her townhouse. The two women had little communication whatsoever.

“Honestly, I didn’t know her before I started meeting all the girls last year. I knew OF her because her reputation precedes her, but I had no personal connection with her before we sat down for our first lunch last season,” Dorinda Medley explains in her blog, according to Bravo, sharing that she has no idea where Morgan is getting this information from.

Dorinda has a theory that Sonja is still very upset with her for being left out of the trip to the Berkshires. Medley decided that it would be best for Sonja to stay at home in New York so she could entertain the other ladies, who clearly still had some drama between them. While Dorinda Medley had planned for a weekend of board games and good food, she quickly learned that it wouldn’t be a night of fun. And she was concerned that a drunk Sonja would have added to the fighting. But she didn’t realize that her co-star was still so hurt about the lack of invitation.

“I was blindsided to hear she was STILL so angry about not coming up to Blue Stone Manor for our one night in the Berkshires… STILL. I’ve said it before: I stand by that decision. It wasn’t because of anyone else — it was because I didn’t want her to be decimated, because I knew a LOT of people had a LOT of issues with her, and I simply wasn’t in the mood to referee or take a hit for anyone,” Dorinda Medley reveals in her blog for Bravo, hinting that her co-star may have said things about her supposed drug use to hurt Medley.

In conclusion, Dorinda learned that she does not have a friend in Sonja. While Dorinda Medley hasn’t outright denied doing drugs, she doesn’t appreciate her co-star saying such things about her. Medley was in shock when the accusation surfaced on the reunion special, and she was angry when Sonja called her a liar for denying it, according to the Daily Mail.

“Sonja is not my friend, she never has been, and by the looks of it, never will be. She’d rather make up stories in her head than make the effort, and I’ve got a real life going on, not an imaginary one. Who knows … maybe she needed to get out more and should’ve come so she could have an axe worth grinding with the ones who care enough to fire back,” Dorinda Medley ends her Bravo blog.
