UFO Researchers Launch Kickstarter Campaign To Investigate Alleged ‘Floating Eye Island’ Entrance To Underground Alien Base In Buenos Aires, Argentina [Video]
A Kickstarter campaign has been launched to investigate the mysterious “floating eye island” discovered accidentally near Buenos Aires in Argentina by a film crew that was investigating the area for a suitable location to film an alien, UFO, or paranormal documentary.
The floating island, about 130 yards in diameter, rotates on its axis on a small lake located in the middle of a swampy marsh. The lake has unusually clear and cold water. The circular island floating on the lake is surrounded by a narrow channel of the lake’s water, like a moat around the island.
Alien and UFO hunters claim that the mysterious “floating eye island” could be the entrance to a massive alien UFO base. The geometrically perfect circular shape of the lake and the island is proof of intelligent, artificial construction, according to conspiracy theorists.
The strange island was discovered about six months ago by a film crew searching Google Earth for a suitable location in South America to shoot a documentary on paranormal phenomena, such as alien and UFO sightings. Instead, they stumbled upon something more intriguing.
The island, at coordinates 34°15’07.8’S 58°49’47.4?W on Google Earth, was dubbed the “The Eye” by the film crew that discovered it.
“When locating this reference in the map we discovered something unexpected that left the film project in the background, we call it ‘The Eye.'”

After the crew discovered the mysterious island on Google Earth, a team flew to Argentina to investigate it. They reached the site of the water and island after a long and arduous trek.
The strange island is located in the Parana Delta, an expanse of marshy land near Campana and Zarate in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
“The water is incredibly clear and cold, something totally unusual in the area. The bottom is hard in contrast to the swampy marshes surrounding it.”
The team found that the water surrounding the island had a perfect circular shape and that it was unusually cold and clear. The island floating in the middle of the mysterious lake also had a perfect circular shape. It was solid land in the midst of a vast expanse of marshy land.

“We have discovered a mysterious island near the Parana river, which, intriguingly, moves and rotates on its own axis,” reported Richard Petroni, a New York engineer who was part of the team put together by Argentinian film producer Sergio Neuspillerm and tech executive Pablo Martinez to visit Argentina and locate the mysterious island, according to the Daily Mail.
“Both circles are so perfect that it is hard to believe that this is a natural formation.”
Only about $5,300 from 50 donors had been collected by 3:43 p.m. ET, on August 31.
Neuspillerm explained that the team plans to return to the site to conduct scientific investigations. He said they would need experts, such as geologists, biologists, and UFOlogists, to conduct thorough scientific investigation. They would also need equipment, such as scuba gear and drones.
The investigating team would collect water and soil samples, and conduct a study of surrounding flora and fauna, according to Neuspillerm.
Locals say that the mysterious island is supernatural due to a cultural belief that a “circle inside another circle represents God on Earth,” the Daily Mail reported.
The notorious UFO blogger and alien hunter Scott C. Waring seized upon the unusual features as evidence that the floating island and lake were not natural but constructed artificially to mark the location of an underground alien UFO facility. He claimed that the moving and rotating island was probably a lid covering the secret entrance to an underground alien base.
“It accounts for stories bearing connections to UFOs and other paranormal aspects.”
“Argentina has an overabundance of UFO sightings compared to the rest of the world and I believe this is how aliens try to hide this particular entrance to their base,” Waring wrote on his UFO Sightings Daily blog.
“The shape is large and circular, big enough to fit a 100 meter UFO through it. The water below this floating island needs to be dove into and explored,” he added.
