Kate Middleton Pregnant? Is Baby No. 3 Causing Duchess To Skip Out On Royal Duties? [Report]
Kate Middleton pregnant rumors are circulating once again. An alleged pregnancy has followed Duchess Kate and her husband, Prince William, for virtually the whole summer, as reports have emerged about her behavior over the past few weeks.
If Kate Middleton is pregnant, this would be her third child. As we already know, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have two children together. Their son, Prince George Alexander Louis, is 3, and their daughter, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, turned 1 back in May. Both children were born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

If Kate Middleton was pregnant, it wouldn’t be a huge shock. As the Telegraph reported, the duchess told friends she wanted to give Princess Charlotte and Prince George at least one more sibling so they could grow up the way she did. The Middletons had three children, Pippa, James, and Kate. As for the rumored pregnancy, Life & Style reported that Middleton is already four months along, with a source citing a December due date.
“It’s official! She is due on Christmas. Kate and William are overjoyed,” said a source.
Given Duchess Kate is 34-years-old, it’s not a surprise that she’d want to try to have another baby as soon as possible. After age 35, women who become pregnant are considered to be high-risk.

As stated, a sign that suggests Kate Middleton may be pregnant is her alleged recent behavior. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Queen Elizabeth is angry with Kate Middleton, because she’s allegedly trying to get out of her royal work by using her alleged third pregnancy as an excuse. Her royal work includes events that Queen Elizabeth wanted her to attend. The site states that while she loves to be seen with celebrities, her charity work and causes are at a minimum. In fact, the outlet labeled the couple as “the laziest royal couple in history for their work-allergic attitude towards their charities and royal engagements.”

The outlet goes on to say that Kate Middleton’s pregnancy is the only way that she and Prince William can get out of their obligated duties as royals. While these are just rumors, the couple do seem to be keeping a very low profile as of late. However, they are still involved in charity work on a regular basis. The royal couple spent a little over a week in France before they had to come back due to Prince Williams’ obligations at the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity, according to Hello Magazine.
Another clue pointing to the couple trying to keep under the radar is their absence from the Rio Olympics. It was curious that the duke and duchess missed out on the opportunity to watch top athletes while supporting Britain.
That said, Kate Middleton and Prince William were said to have skipped out on the games because of the prevalence of the Zika virus in Brazil. As we know, Zika can affect unborn babies if an expectant mother is bitten by a virus-carrying mosquito. Those infected are born with a myriad of problems, including microcephaly (abnormally small heads in children) and Guillain-Barre syndrome. Those visiting Rio for the Olympics took extra measures to protect themselves from Zika, but one might assume that Kate didn’t want to chance it if she’s pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant.
As for Kate Middleton pregnant rumors, she and Prince William haven’t commented on the news. Interesting enough, this batch of pregnancy rumors are running in the family as Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton is rumored to be pregnant as well. Gossip Cop has debunked both pregnancy rumors, though.
