Kim Kardashian & Family Think Kanye West Is ‘An Embarrassment’ After 2016 VMAs Outburst [Report]
Kim Kardashian allegedly feels “embarrassed” after Kanye West gave ex-girlfriend Amber Rose a shoutout and mentioned her ex-boyfriend Ray J during his rambling speech the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28.
According to a new report by Radar Online, Kim feels that Kanye “really embarrassed her and her family” by digging up both of their past romances and calling out Taylor Swift during his almost six-minute-long speech at the VMAs, and Kardashian reportedly really isn’t happy about West’s latest rant.
Radar Online alleged that Kardashian and her famous family members are almost at the end of their tether when it comes to Kanye’s various outbursts, and West’s latest ramblings on the VMAs stage may just be the last straw.
“It’s just sad,” the source alleged of how Kim and the rest of the Kardashian family really feel about West’s frequent rants. “Kim keeps sticking up for Kanye but her family just feels like it is getting old now. They are all starting to look at him as an embarrassment.”
“But for people to understand just how blessed we are… It was an expression of our now, our fame right now, us on the inside of the TV,” West said in part, referring to his “Famous” music video as Kim watched her husband from the audience.
“I mean, like, I put Ray J in it, bro,” Kanye continued, referring to Kardashian’s former boyfriend and sex tape partner. “This is fame, bro! Like, I see you Amber,” Kanye then said, pointing at his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose in the audience before describing Kardashian as being “a G.”
“Not a lot of peoples’ wives would let them say that right there,” Kanye West admitted of his Kim Kardashian comments on the VMAs stage.
Kanye then went on to talk about his role models, Steve Jobs, Henry Ford, Harry Truman Howard Hughes, Walt Disney, and himself, before discussing the “three keys to keeping people impoverished.”
“That’s taking away their esteem, taking away their resources, and taking away their role models,” West said as Kardashian watched on from the VMAs audience.
But if Kim is really feeling “embarrassed” of West’s latest rant, she didn’t appear to let on while watching West from the audience, though Yahoo! claimed that the couple put on a very different display behind the scenes at the VMAs.
“They seemed ‘on’ when the spotlight was on them and ‘off’ when it wasn’t,” the site said of Kim and Kanye’s date night, claiming that there was a “disconnect” between the two backstage after they were spotted sitting across the room from one another and checking their phones during a candid moment.
According to the site, Kim is reportedly still feeling less than happy with her husband after he allegedly asked her to stay with him in New York in the days following the VMAs, despite Kardashian making it clear that she’d rather head back to Los Angeles.
“Kim does not like being in New York and Kanye asked her to stay there right now because he has business to do,” the Kardashian source told the site. “Kim thinks that New York is dangerous and she never feels safe there, but once again, Kanye is putting his needs before his family.”
