‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Season 3 — Ashley Iaconetti Reaches A New Low In Her Attempt To Break Up Caila And Jared

Ashley Iaconetti is determined to win Jared Haibon’s heart, no matter the cost.

While Bachelor in Paradise heads into its final week, Iaconetti hatches a new plan to land Haibon. Is she reaching a new low in her attempts to find love?

Us Magazine reports that an emotional Iaconetti brought up the death of her dog, Lucy, and how she hopes a new romance will make everything better.

“My dog died, and she’s like my best friend,” Iaconetti shared. “But I know she went to heaven because all dogs do, and even though Lucy’s ashes are in a jar in my house, I know that the spirit of my dog, Lucy, is going to help me on this journey.”

Iaconetti then implored her dog to send her a man that she can connect with before things really start to unravel.

“Lucy, please let some guy that I actually will have some sort of instant chemistry and connection with walk in that door because I am really scared that I am going to completely lose my mind,” she stated.

Of course, things turned around for Ashley with Wells Adams’ highly-anticipated arrival, which definitively makes Iaconetti happy. It looks like Lucy did her job after all!

For Iaconetti, Wells’ entrance could not have come at a better time.

According to Refinery, Iaconetti worked hard to win over Haibon, who only started to grow closer and closer to Caila Quinn as the weeks wore on.

In fact, Iaconetti even started to sabotage Haibon’s newfound romance by revealing how Quinn knew about her feelings for Haibon. Iaconetti claims that Quinn even promised her to stay away from Haibon before Bachelor in Paradise started filming.

“She and I had a conversation before, that she had very strong feelings for him, and I promised, no matter what, I wouldn’t go on a date with him,” Quinn told People.

Despite the promise, Haibon proved too enticing a prospect for Quinn to pass up.

“But there’s something about when you meet someone for the first time, you’re attracted to them, you want to give that a chance. This show is ultimately about love. So I went for that,” Quinn admitted.

Despite their troubles on Bachelor in Paradise, Quinn acknowledged how she and Iaconetti are good friends. She also shared how Iaconetti’s desire to please everyone gets her in trouble.

As far as Iaconetti is concerned, International Business Times reports that she is glad that her chances with Haibon are now over.

Apparently, her conversation with Haibon about their future was something Iaconetti desperately needed and gave her a lot of closure.

“And as much as it killed me in the moment,” she stated, “I can see now it was best for me not to have that glimmer of hope moving forward.”

As fans will recall, Iaconetti tried her best to end Haibon’s romance with Quinn last week. However, according to International Business Times, Iaconetti’s efforts were not successful, and Haibon’s romance with Quinn only heated up.

Does this mean Iaconetti is finally ready to move on and forget about Haibon?

Not really, she still tried to get in the middle of Quinn and Haibon in the latest episode. But her last-ditch effort only backfired, and Caila and Jared made a hasty exit from Paradise together.

As Jared explained to Ashely that Quinn was leaving, she tried one last time to defend her actions.

“She just left?!” Iaconetti says in the clip, released by E! News. “I told her that you guys need to talk about this. Did you talk about it?”

“She talked to me,” Haibon replies. “She sat me down, she was like: ‘I want you to come with me.’ ”

“Jared, I didn’t tell her to leave,” Iaconetti insists. “I’m not doing this out of jealousy. She said that she doesn’t like you, and I just wanted you to be warned.”

Haibon obviously didn’t believe Iaconetti, and frankly neither did Bachelor Nation.

Haibon got up to leave to leave Bachelor in Paradise with Quinn.

“No – Jared!” she says. “You think that if I weren’t here you’d be living happily ever after.”

“No, it’s not about you,” Haibon responds, raising his voice. “It’s about me! You think I’m happy with everything that I’ve just dealt with over the last four weeks in Paradise, and this is how it’s going to end?”

Iaconetti — shockingly — begins to do her ugly cry.

“No, but I think you think it’s my fault,” she wails. “I was just trying to protect you! You think I did it to destroy you.”

Haibon quickly left and caught up with Quinn who looked genuinely happy that he chose to leave with her.

Will they be able to live happily ever after without the distraction of crying and meddling Ashley I.? Not so much.

Things looked hopeful for Ashley and Wells until some new bachelorettes came to the island that caught the Nashville DJ’s eye.

Wells kissed Ashley and the two new arrivals, leaving fans wondering just who he would give his rose to in the final guys rose ceremony.

Fans can watch Iaconetti find love when the final two episodes of Bachelor in Paradise air Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.
