Rihanna Still Loves Chris Brown Despite Dating Drake? She Texted Him After Police Drama
Almost everyone’s talking about Rihanna and Drake’s romance after their kiss during the VMAs, but it seems that the Barbadian beauty is still in love with her former lover, the infamous Chris Brown.
The “Loyal” hitmaker recently got involved in a police drama, and this got the “Diamonds” singer panicking and freaking out when she found out about the incident.
The police surrounded Brown’s home after he allegedly pointed a gun on model Baylee Curran. The 27-year-old musician reportedly got angry after the woman complimented the diamond necklace of another man. According to ABC News, The arrest took about 14 hours, and he was held in police custody on Tuesday. However, Chris’ attorney, Mark Geragos, confirmed early morning of Wednesday that the singer had been released with a bail of $250,000.
“She’s been texting him like crazy and he hasn’t responded to one of her texts and that’s making her extremely nervous,” an insider revealed. “She needs him to text her and say something!”
Riri knows how Breezy has been trying hard to become the best dad to his little girl; and the police drama doesn’t make him look good. In fact, his baby mama wants full custody after this incident. An insider told HollywoodLife.com that Nia Guzman is really upset and furious at Brown for hanging out with people who get him into trouble. She is reportedly worried about Royalty’s safety and already talking to her team to help her get her daughter.
Drake has been doing almost everything to get Rihanna fall for him. Apart from declaring his love for her during the VMAs, he also congratulated her by posting a message on a huge billboard. His gesture seems to have worked because the “Work” hitmaker shared a photo of the billboard on Instagram adding a heart and trophy emoticons.
While many people were happy to see the romantic gestures of Drizzy on Riri, Breezy isn’t impressed by his actions. Maybe he is jealous that the two are getting close and probably dating already. Or he knows that all of the rapper’s efforts won’t pay off because he is confident that Robyn Fenty is still in love with him.
“Drake’s doing too much and Chris is laughing at him behind his back,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com. “Between the billboard and the speech — that’s not being a gentlemen, that’s just being corny.”
“Drake is trying to be all smooth, but he’s failing because Rihanna doesn’t want him,” their source added.
Chris and Rihanna may not be together anymore, but he seems to hold a very special place in her heart. During an interview with Vanity Fair, the Grammy Award-winner opened up about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend and revealed why she gave him a second chance despite the brutal assault back in 2009.
“Maybe I’m the person who’s almost the guardian angel to this person, to be there when they’re not strong enough, when they’re not understanding the world, when they just need someone to encourage them in a positive way and say the right thing.”
Rihanna admitted that she is very protective of Chris Brown and thought that she could change him. However, she later on realized that she isn’t really built for this, and that’s why she had to walk away. Despite their complex relationship, she revealed that she doesn’t hate him. She may even still love him with the way she tried to evade Drake’s kiss at the VMAs and her reaction when she found out about her ex-boyfriend’s police standoff.
“I will care about him until the day I die,” she said. “We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now.”
