‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7: ‘Caryl’ Fans Rejoice! Daryl And Carol Scenes Filmed, Dixon Safe After All? [Spoilers]
A few weeks ago, Daryl Dixon fans were upset over a clip for The Walking Dead Season 7 that was released. Many were convinced that the clip meant Daryl Dixon dies. However, new TWD spoilers indicate that he is very much alive and with a familiar face.
The Walking Dead Season 7 spoilers are below. If you don’t want to know any details, then stop reading.
The clip that had “Caryl” fans in tears was of Dwight (Austin Amelio) wearing Daryl Dixon’s vest and riding his motorcycle. There were a lot of people who predicted that the clip meant Norman Reedus was leaving The Walking Dead.
As previously speculated by the Inquisitr, that alone was not proof that Daryl Dixon dies. First of all, The Walking Dead would not reveal such a huge spoiler. There have been many times when clips were released that made fans believe a character was going to die. When the episode actually aired, however, that person ended up being fine. One example was when Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) beat up Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt). It looked like Eugene was a goner, but fans were misled.
In the speculation, it was stated that Dwight might have forced Daryl to give up his belongings. After all, that is what the Saviors do. Also, Austin Amelio’s character has a history of stealing Daryl’s possessions.

Now, there seems to be proof that Daryl Dixon is alive on The Walking Dead. According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, who plays Carol on TWD, were seen filming scenes together. The scenes were reportedly for Season 7, Episode 10. Not only were “Caryl” together, but the two ventured into a creepy house.
As many TWD fans know, Episode 10 is in the second half of Season 7. This means that Daryl Dixon survives Negan’s barbed wire baseball bat, Lucille, that will take someone’s life in the premiere. There will be other deaths throughout Season 7, and some may be from Negan. Don’t think for a second that the killing on the season finale was the only bad thing Negan would do.

Negan isn’t the only threat in The Walking Dead. In the official Season 7 trailer, fans will meet other communities, including Ezekiel (Khary Payton) of the Kingdom. In the comic books, Ezekiel helps Alexandria and the Hilltop Colony defeat Negan. There is also a rumor that the Whisperers will make their debut, but that has not been confirmed.
Other spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 7 include everyone dealing with Negan’s kill differently. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus teased just how much it will change everybody.
“Some relinquish power. Some accept it. Some fight it. There are people questioning it. There are people pointing their fingers. There are people blaming themselves. Other things happen that completely destroy people. The group is completely broken apart at this point. Negan has come in and completely shaken up everything. Loyalties are broken, belief in one another, belief in ourselves. Each individual is completely broken, and they don’t all handle it the exact same way.”
This definitely makes it sound like some characters may decide to completely give up after Negan’s attack. Now it’s just a question of which ones.
What do you think is going to happen with Daryl and Carol? Will Melissa McBride’s character be back to her old self soon? Why did Dwight have Daryl Dixon’s vest and motorcycle? Does this TWD spoiler mean that Norman Reedus’ character is safe from death, at least in Season 7? What will happen with Rick Grimes, Michonne, Abraham Ford, and the rest of the characters in the zombie apocalypse television show? Find out when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 23.
