Yeti Sightings Are Popping Up All Over Russia, Bigfoot Hunt Imminent
Yeti sightings have started to pop up all across Russia, according to the folks at Fox News. No less than three instances of Bigfoot-related encounters have been reported over the past month or so, sightings which Yeti experts have deemed “significant.” The handful of appearances from the legendary creature has prompted many folks to wonder why, exactly, these Yetis have decided to make their presence known.
International Business Times reports that an expedition to locate the Yetis will soon be launched. Igor Burtsev, head of the International Centre of Hominology, will spearhead the adventure.
“We have good evidence of the yeti living in our region, and we have heard convincing details from experts elsewhere in Russia and in the US and Canada,” Burtsev explained. “The description of the habits of the Abominable Snowmen are similar from all over the world.”
One individual who reportedly encountered the Yeti explained that the creature didn’t respond to inquiries for help. “We shouted, ‘Do you need help?’ They rushed away, all in fur, walking on two legs, making their way through the bushes and with two other limbs, straight up the hill,” the person said.
Days after the first sighting, a fishermen allegedly bumped into the beast on the banks of a river. “We saw some tall animals looking like people. Our binoculars were broken and did not let us see them sharply,” he stated. “We waved at the animals but they did not respond, then quickly ran back into the forest, walking on two legs. We realized that they were not in dark clothes but covered by dark fur. They did walk like people.”
Stories of Yeti, Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and their ilk have been discovered all over the world. According to Wikipedia, stories from the indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest chronicled the appearances of such larger than life creatures. Legendary Frontiersman Daniel Boone reportedly killed a very large, very hairy beast called “Yahoo” during his day, which may have inspired certain North American Bigfoot stories.
