How Does Bethenny Frankel Feel About Being Banned From Luann De Lesseps’ Wedding?

Bethenny Frankel felt horrible after learning that Luann de Lesseps’ future husband had been cheating on her. Bethenny didn’t want the information, but it just happened to fall into her lap after a friend spotted Thomas D’Agostino at the Regency Hotel in New York with another woman, just 48 hours before he was scheduled to host his own engagement party.

Throughout the trip to Miami, Frankel considered when and how she would tell her Real Housewives of New York co-star about the cheating. And when the beans finally spilled, she was shocked. Rather than be upset about the aftermath of the cheating, Luann was upset that he got caught kissing another woman. Now, de Lesseps has completely flipped, and she’s furious with Bethenny.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now confirming that she has been banned from Luann’s New Year’s Eve wedding to Thomas. While Luann is in full swing planning her expensive wedding to Thomas, she has revealed that the guest list does not include some of her Real Housewives of New York cast members — and Bethenny is downright banned.

“I don’t think you’re missing much Bethenny by missing Luann’s wedding,” one follower wrote to Bethenny Frankel, to which she replied, “I will be ringing in the new year with people I love & with good energy.”

Many viewers of the show have struggled with Luann’s way of handling the situation. Rather than focus on Thomas’ betrayal, she has quickly flipped the script, blaming Frankel for the way things went down. She’s called Bethenny cold and calculated, and she thinks that Bethenny only told her to boost the ratings on the show. Meanwhile, Frankel has revealed that she wanted to be a good friend and that she was truly sad on her co-star’s behalf.

“You handled yourself perfectly in the finale. Luann is in such denial – once a cheater, always a cheater. So sad. Bravo girl,” one person wrote, to which Bethenny Frankel replied, “Much sadness. Water seeks its own level.”

Even though it was a tough situation for Bethenny, many people have reached out to her, saying that they would want her to do the same thing for them if their partners were cheating on them.

“U did the right thing telling Lu about tom cheating. But let’s be honest u were more upset about it than her she didn’t cry #RHONY,” another person wrote to Frankel, who revealed that more will come during the reunion, tweeting back, “I was genuinely upset. But the snake’s colors show during the reunion. I won’t be charming this one.”

The Real Housewives of New York reunion will start airing this Wednesday, and it sounds like some friendships may be completely broken once it comes to an end. Luann was clearly in denial about the betrayal, and in her newest blog for the show, she reveals that she’s happy that she forgave Thomas for his cheating.

“It took me some time to pull myself together after the initial shock. My gut reaction was to think about how this looked to my friends and family, and it wasn’t until I had time to think that I began to understand what I was feeling. We all make mistakes, and some we make in private and others we make for the world to see. After I found out about what Tom had done, I had to dig deep within myself to find the love to forgive, but I did. I forgave him shortly after reuniting back in New York,” Luann has revealed on her blog for Bravo.
