Carole Radziwill Reveals Monogamy Is Not Important To Luann De Lesseps

Carole Radziwill has been watching the Luann de Lesseps and Thomas D’Agostino train wreck since she learned about the pictures of Thomas kissing another woman at the Regency Hotel in New York. Fans of The Real Housewives of New York finally saw the pictures on the season finale, and it was shocking to see him so blatantly kissing another woman just 48 hours before his engagement party to Luann. Since Carole and Luann had made peace from the Adam Kenworthy drama last year, Radziwill wanted to be there for her Real Housewives of New York co-star in case she needed someone to talk to. But it was clear from the beginning that she was more embarrassed about him being spotted with another woman than him cheating.

According to a new Bravo report, Carole Radziwill is now sharing her theory that her lack of hurt could be linked to her own behavior. It’s no secret that Luann has previously cheated on her partners, and she revealed that she didn’t really care that she hooked up with a married man last year when the ladies were on a cast trip. In other words, monogamy is not something that de Lesseps places high on her list of important values.

“Luann has showed us time and time again that monogamy is not something she places a premium on. Why are we not listening? Maybe it is me who hasn’t learned the lesson. She freely admits to stepping out in her marriage, only after her husband did first, but still. Many women would have pulled up their boot-straps, divorced the serial philanderer and made a new life,” Carole Radziwill explains in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York, according to Bravo, sharing some past facts about Luann’s marriage.

“But Luann is the more, if you can’t beat ’em, join’em type. I mean, she was living with a man when she met and married the Count. Then, of course, there was the infamous ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Housewives Edition.’ And let’s face it, TomDickHarry was sucking face with another woman when Luann got him in her ‘clutches,’ — as she ironically described the Regency Bar Playmate,” Carole Radziwill points out.

It’s interesting that she was living with another man when she met the Count years ago. When fans first met her on The Real Housewives of New York, it seemed like she wanted everyone to think that it was the perfect marriage. But fans later learned that he had cheated on her and now Carole Radziwill is pointing out that her co-star had also cheated on her husband. On the show, de Lesseps tried to explain that she was forced into an open marriage and was forced to be with other people, but Carole didn’t quite see it that way. And Radziwill definitely doesn’t understand why she keeps blaming Bethenny for this cheating.

“And it doesn’t matter how many times she points her finger at Bethenny for trying to ‘ruin her happiness.’ Or that she imagines we are huddled in secret conversations, re-casting her betrothed as a piñata. So what that we think TomDickHarry is a sad, lonely drunk; a cheater with as much personal integrity as a martini olive. It simply does not matter,” Carole Radziwill points out in her Bravo blog.

According to Reality Tea, de Lesseps has said some harsh things about Bethenny Frankel since she decided to share the cheating news with her friend. She seems convinced that Frankel only shared the news because she was thinking about herself, even though Carole Radziwill, Bethenny and Ramona Singer were heartbroken for her when they learned about the picture.
