Miranda Lambert And Anderson East PDA Alert! Blake Shelton’s Ex Calls BF On Stage
Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, are rarely seen on stage together unlike her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. The country superstar and the No Doubt lead singer were regularly seen on television during their coaching stint on the popular show The Voice, so seeing them perform on stage is nothing new.
During Lambert’s concert in Maine, the crowd went wild when she suddenly called East on stage. The 32-year-old songstress was doing her own version of Linda Ronstadt’s “Willin” with other country superstars Gwen Sebastian, Kip Moore, and Brothers Osborne. Before the group began their next song, which was a cover of Janis Joplin’s “Me and Bobby McGee,” the blonde beauty suddenly asked the 28-year-old musician to join her on stage.
According to Wide Open Country, Miranda referred to Anderson as her boyfriend. The adorable couple started packing on the PDA while performing with their friends. Blake Shelton’s ex-wife was even caught giving her beau a kiss on the cheek. They were also spotted holding hands and getting cozy in front of the crowd. The Grammy Award winner is currently on her “Keeper of the Flame Tour,” which will run until September 17. The Alabama-born musician, on the other hand, has been busy with his “Fall Tour,” which kicked off on August 25 in Helsinki. He will be touring until November 20, so Miranda will most probably appear at one of his concerts just like his recent surprise appearance in her show in Maine.
The two have been very supportive of each other, not only as artists but as a couple. Last July, the “Over You” hitmaker greeted her boyfriend on his birthday with an adorable photo on Instagram. She called her ‘Bama’ boy and gave him a kiss on the lips.
The Maine concert wasn’t the first time that the couple got their fans all giddy because of their sweet moments together. Last Valentine’s Day, Miranda Lambert surprised East’s fans by doing the backup vocals for his version of Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby” during his concert in Massachusetts. An insider told ET that Blake Shelton’s ex-wife kept a low profile together with another female country singer, Gwen Sebastian, in the club until the blues musician called them up to join him sing the popular 90s hit.
“She was having a blast just singing along and laughing and smiling,” the eyewitness shared. “At one point during the song, Anderson leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek and then she gave him one too.”
East was really grateful for Lambert’s sweet gesture, so he shared a photo of him together with his lover and their friend on Instagram. The musician claimed that it was the best Valentine’s Day gift that he ever had. He even called her “darlin'” and that she will always be his baby.
Because of their closeness, rumors suggest that they are taking their relationship to the next level. Hollywood Life reported a few months ago that Miranda Lambert is planning to get married to Anderson East before the year ends. It could even happen after her tour, but the songstress’ alleged main goal is to tie the knot before her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani does.
“She knows what she wants and she wants Anderson. It just feels right, so why wait?” an insider said. “[Miranda] will absolutely get some satisfaction from beating Blake and Gwen to the altar.”
