Karrueche Tran And The Game Pose For Pics At Cassie’s Birthday Party Following ‘All Eyez’ Shout-Out
Karrueche Tran and The Game may have shut down dating rumors just a few months ago, but it looks like the duo is back in the spotlight after they were spotted posing for pictures together during Cassie’s 30th birthday bash on Friday.
Back in June, The Game fueled romance rumors with Karrueche Tran after he gave the model a shout-out in his then-newly released track, “All Eyez,” which borrowed a line from Chris Brown’s “Back To Sleep (Remix)” in which the singer shouts out his ex’s name with the lyrics, “You want me to say your name, girl? Okay, Karrueche!”
While Karrueche never publicly acknowledged The Game’s “All Eyez” reference, it appears that the duo remains on good terms after posing for photos together during Cassie’s 30th birthday party on August 26.
In the photo, obtained by the Shade Room, The Game can be seen casually leaning his head towards Karrueche while the model keeps her arms crossed and gives a subtle smile for the friendly photo.
It didn’t take long for fans to begin speculating over whether or not Karrueche and The Game may be more than friends, with some fans even opting to tag Chris Brown in the duo’s photo in the hopes of provoking a reaction from the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer.
Despite rumors of an impending beef between The Game and Chris Brown over the rapper’s closeness to Karrueche, the “Mula” artist previously spoke out against the feud speculation during an interview with Los Angeles’ Real 92.3 in June while noting that the track was all in good fun.
When asked if Chris Brown had confronted him about borrowing a line from his “Back To Sleep (Remix)” in order to give a shout-out to Karrueche Tran, The Game explained, “Chris is a cool guy. I just remember hearing him do that on the song and I thought it was dope. You know what I’m saying? So, when I was doing the song at Storch house, I’m like, I was thinking about doing it in the same vein, but I couldn’t think of what name so I just said the same name because I thought it would be funny.”
However, when asked to clarify the nature of his friendship with Karrueche, The Game admits that his “All Eyez” shout-out was “just fun and games” before noting that Karrueche is “a real cool girl.”
“It was just fun and games. Karrueche is a real cool girl and she’s dope so, you know, she got a shout-out,” the rapper revealed.
Chris Brown later echoed The Games’ comments regarding the fake feud rumors when he took to Instagram to comment on the Shade Room‘s post concerning the rapper’s “All Eyez” shout-out to Karrueche, revealing, “Young KING MIDAS. Everything around me turns gold!” in addition to a laughing-crying emoji.
This isn’t the first time that The Game and Karrueche Tran have ignited dating rumors; earlier this year, The Game opened up to E! News regarding the false dating claims by noting that he and Chris Brown remain good friends and are in no way battling it out for Karrueche’s affection.
“We aren’t fighting. Chris is a good friend of mine, he’s a really great talent and a really good guy,” The Game began before noting that his decision to “like” several of Karrueche’s Instagram photos was not intended to be a dig at Brown who was trying to reunite with Tran after the model called off their longtime relationship the year before.
“All I did was like a few [of Karrueche Tran’s] pictures. [Chris] didn’t get angry or anything. They were nice pictures, that’s what Instagram is for, you know! On the same day, I liked a few of your pictures. I liked some of Rihanna’s, and two of Beyoncé’s. They picked Karrueche out of that,” The Game reveals. “I don’t know, media does that. All the blog sites, they twist it.”
