Jeana Keough Slams Her Former Costars, Claims Leaving The ‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ ‘Saved Her Soul’
There’s at least one former Real Housewives of Orange County who is happy about her departure.
E! Online is reporting that Jeana Keough is thrilled that things didn’t work out with her and RHOC. However, that doesn’t mean Keough is done stirring up the drama with the other ladies on the show.
During an appearance on Oprah: Where Are They Now, Keough slammed her RHOC co-stars and called them out for inappropriate behavior.
“I quit the show because it became not so favorable for me. I knew how to behave on camera and they didn’t,” Keough shared. “I don’t think I missed out on anything by leaving.”
Keough didn’t stop there and claims that leaving the series saved her soul.
She also dished on Vicki Gunvalson, who is currently the only original member left on the show.“I felt like it kind of saved my soul a little bit because Vicki is so sad,” she stated. “How she’s portrayed and how her boyfriend’s portrayed and I would never want to be that sad.”
As fans will recall, Keough had a particularly memorable moment during the Season 6 finale of RHOC.
Although Tamra Judge threw some wine at Keough, she insists that their beef is over.

According to Parent Herald, their fight wasn’t real and they planned the altercation for the cameras.
“Tamra had it all in her mind to do this. She knew it,” Keough revealed. “She’s like stomping around and doing her little acting bit. She just did it for drama.”
Keough also claims that her place in the Real Housewives is a little more prestigious than previously thought.
The former model told Oprah that Scott Dunlop, who produces the hit franchise, was inspired to create the reality show after watching her family in action.
Apparently, Dunlop originally filmed Jeana Keough’s family and then showed the footage to Bravo. The network liked it and signed on Keough -along with Kimberly Bryant, Lauri Peterson, Vicki Gunvalson, and Jo De La Rosa – for Season 1.
Dunlop and Keough were neighbors in Coto de Caza, which definitely adds a little more credence to her claims. Meanwhile, since Keough left the hit reality series, she has been busy with her growing family.
In fact, Keough’s daughter, Kara, recently had her first kid with Kyle Bosworth. Naturally, Coto de Caza resident is more than thrilled about becoming a grandmother and spending more time with her family.
“What makes me the most happy in life right now is being surrounded by family and children,” she explained. “I’m just excited to see the next chapter of my life. I want to live it and have fun and be fit, happy and healthy. That’s all we can hope for.”
Although Keough is happy with how things turned out, she recognizes the impact the show had on her life.
According to Radar Online, Keough is thrilled about how her business has taken off since her departure from RHOC and credits the show for her success.
“Wall Street Journal says I’m the #3 followed realtor in the United States,” she stated. “When I list a house it goes around the world. The show has been really good for my real estate career.”
Of course, Keough was unable to escape the Housewives curse and is currently divorced.
So far, none of her former co-stars have addressed Keough’s claims against them, though that will likely change after the interview airs this weekend.
Fans can watch Keough’s full interview on Oprah: Where Are They Now Saturday night on OWN.
