Jennifer Lopez Dumped By Casper Smart? Dancer Reportedly Walked Out On Her
Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are no longer dating, and this was confirmed by multiple sources a few days ago. People reported that the on-again off-again couple split up weeks ago. The 47-year-old singer and the 29-year-old dancer got romantically linked in late 2011, but only confirmed that they were dating in July 2012. However, the two have reportedly split up and reunited a couple of times during the term of their relationship.
In their most recent breakup, an insider revealed that the two are on good terms and nothing dramatic happened during their split up. According to the source, they will remain friends and still see each other even if they are not together anymore. The magazine tried to confirm the report with their reps, but J. Lo and Smart’s reps declined to comment on the news.
“Casper has long felt like Jennifer doesn’t put enough effort into their relationship or give him the respect he deserves as her partner. So, finally he got the confidence to confront her,” an insider said. “It turned into a huge fight. Jennifer said she didn’t do anything wrong and that she didn’t like the way Casper was attacking her for no reason.”
Before the famous couple’s breakup was confirmed, they already hinted signs that their relationship is over. Lopez shared a video of her partying at The Hamptons on Instagram together with other celebrities a few days ago. Her boyfriend was nowhere to be found, which started rumors that the two had split up.
While the former American Idol judge had fun on her own, Smart decided to spend his day watching UFC 202. He even shared a photo with Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer on Instagram.
After that post sparked breakup rumors, the Street actor posted this message to his followers, “New experiment…Gonna try to live old school for a little while. Going back to a time before social media. Gonna focus on personal connections over a type and text existence.”
Casper didn’t deactivate his account, but he seems to be steering away from social media. Jennifer, on the other hand, continues to post messages that seems to be addressed to her ex-boyfriend. She shared a photo of herself standing on a street art that says “Protect yo heart.”
After walking away from Lopez, Smart seems to have realized his mistake and is now trying to win back his ex-girlfriend. According to TMZ, it was the pop superstar who broke up with the dancer and he is in denial that their relationship is over.
Smart reportedly flew to New York City to be with J. Lo, who is currently staying there to film her latest TV series Shades of Blue. Sources claim that their relationship is amicable and they are still good friends despite the breakup. The star of The Boy Next Door has made it clear that they are not dating anymore, but the choreographer is allegedly having a hard time accepting their split up. He thinks it is just one of their fights, but she is sure that they are over.
