‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Star Jamie Dornan Admits He Misses Dakota Johnson, As Amelia Warner Tries To Save Their Marriage

Fifty Shades Darker just finished filming, and Jamie Dornan already misses his co-star, Dakota Johnson.

Now that production is over for Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, Dornan will no longer meet with any of the cast members, including Johnson. How did Dornan’s wife, Amelia Warner, take the news?

According to Parent Herald, Dornan didn’t specifically mention Johnson’s name, but did share how he will miss his friends from the set.

“I’ll miss my friends the most,” Dornan told People. “The people are like family to me, and suddenly I won’t be seeing them as much, and that’s kind of sad.”

Of course, Dornan also misses all the fun he had working on the erotic franchise, including shedding his clothing. He won’t, however, miss wearing all of Christian Grey’s dapper suits.

During their three years working together, Dornan and Johnson shared plenty of moments beneath the sheets as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Their on-screen romance even led to some rumors about a potential relationship outside of work.

These rumors were never substantiated, but Dornan’s on-screen chemistry with Johnson, and the fact that they had to perform loads of sex scenes together, continued to ignite rumors.

Does Dornan’s latest comments allude to a romance with Johnson in real life?

Although Dornan and Johnson spiced things up even more for the upcoming sequel, it doesn’t appear as though anything happened between the two stars when the cameras stopped rolling.

In fact, Dornan has a healthy relationship with Warner, despite the nature of the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.

The couple has been married for a few years now and recently welcomed a newborn into the world.

Now that Dornan’s days as Christian Grey are over, he is looking forward to spending more time with his growing family. He also doesn’t want to be remembered for his role in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise and is looking to expand his career in Hollywood.

That being said, Movie News Guide is reporting that Warner moved to Canada during the production of Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed to be closer to her husband.

The move is certainly understandable given the birth of their child, but it still led to speculation that Warner was trying to keep a closer eye on Dornan’s behavior.

According to HNGN, Warner was even spotted on set on numerous occasions, making sure that Dornan and Johnson kept things strictly business.

Warner’s relocation to Canada also sparked rumors that she was jealous of Dornan’s relationship with Johnson.

Was Warner afraid that Dornan was falling for his co-star?

Although many fans might construe Dornan’s comments as proof of his romance with Johnson, it doesn’t look like their relationship is going anywhere.

With filming for the final two movies now complete, Dornan and Johnson will not be spending as much time together. More importantly, they no longer have to simulate sex in front of the cameras.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Dornan’s interactions with Johnson are completely over.

After all, the sequel is still a few months away from premiering in theaters while the final film in the franchise is over a year out, which means Dornan and Johnson still have a lot of promotion ahead of them.

This includes interviews for the upcoming movies and a press tour.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the first Fifty Shades Darker trailer, which is expected to arrive sometime next month.

Fifty Shades Darker is set to open in theaters on Feb. 10, 2017, while the final film in the hit franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, will arrive one year later.
