Former ‘RHONJ’ Star Caroline Manzo And Husband Losing Money On Family Business?
Caroline Manzo has been staying out of the public eye for a while now, as she’s been filming the newest season of Manzo’d with Children. Manzo and her family experienced a few months of silence before the Bravo cameras returned. The family has been filming the show by themselves after Caroline decided to leave The Real Housewives of New Jersey behind about two years ago.
While filming the show, Caroline and her husband ran the Brownstone, which was the family business. All of their children had worked there at some point in their lives, and it sounded like things were going great. However, it sounds like they are now in some financial troubles.
According to a new Radar Online report, Caroline Manzo’s husband is now being asked to pay $6,132 to a company called Frank and Son Dynamic Elevator Services Inc. Apparently, the company did some services for the Brownstone, but the bill has yet to be paid. The elevator company was granted the automatic default just last month after the Brownstone failed to respond to the complaint filed on June 9, 2016. It doesn’t seem like Albert or Caroline Manzo to avoid such a bill, but now it is a legal matter.

The reason for the bill not being paid could have something to do with the family supposedly owing upwards of $208,012.77 in state taxes for the business. That seems like quite the amount of money for a company to pay, but that could have something to do with the family business doing well at one point and Caroline Manzo not keeping up with the tax payments. And based on Radar Online’s research, it sounds like the Manzo family also had an accountant to help them out, as they also owe $13,075 to an accounting firm that worked with the Brownstone.
If the family is indeed owing this kind of money, they are not showing it on their social media accounts. Caroline recently revealed that she had bought brand new furniture. Of course, the company could be kept separate from the family, and they could be removing a large salary for themselves and letting the company suffer.
This isn’t the first time that rumors of trouble have surfaced in regards to the family. When Caroline Manzo was on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she hinted that her husband may have cheated on her.

“Let’s clarify the infidelity remark, shall we? My point is simply this — in life you should never say never. That goes with many other things besides infidelity. For example, never say that your kid would never do drugs, or drink, or swear, or get with the wrong crowd. Never say that you are exempt from cancer or some other debilitating disease. Never say that you will always have a roof over your head and food on your table. Never say that you will always have a perfect relationship with your siblings or children or spouse. WHY? Because life just doesn’t work like that,” Caroline Manzo wrote on her final blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, according to Bravo, after rumors of infidelity surfaced in her marriage.

“So, I simply say, why not me? Then I give thanks to God every day for my blessings. We have our health, we are happy, and we are together. I have lived a wonderful life with a good man that loves me to death, and vice versa. If you don’t believe me, so what, if you do, thanks. End of story,” Manzo concluded, according to Bravo.
Are you surprised to learn that Caroline Manzo owes money? Why do you think she and her husband are avoiding paying the bills?
