Selena Gomez Can’t Close The Justin Bieber Chapter — Here’s Why

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber broke up ages ago, but the media frenzy around them doesn’t seem to die. The Selena Gomez-Justin Bieber saga was renewed recently when the two indulged in a very public war of words on Instagram. There were no winners or losers, but the two did not fail to send social media into a frenzy.

Why do the two keep making news time and again? Gomez appeared in W magazine earlier this year and had famously said, “I am done with Justin Bieber.”

The singer seemed extremely misunderstood when it came to her personal life.

“I’m so exhausted,” she said. “I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.”

Then why, one would wonder, did she respond to the Instagram pictures that Justin Bieber posted recently?

Selena admitted that she got into a relationship with Justin Bieber because she thought they looked good together.

“To me it was: I’m 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn’t know where to go.”

While Selena Gomez might sound like she’s trying hard to get over the Justin Bieber, the “Sorry” singer has a very different story to tell. Us Weekly reported that Justin Bieber accused Selena Gomez of using him for attention.

“Justin thinks Selena is all about attention so that’s why he said that,” a source close to Bieber told Us Weekly.

“He remembers she always brought him out to be seen with him in the beginning, especially that Vanity Fair Oscars party,” the insider says of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s 2011 appearance. “She was the one who made him go out with her to that. She was always about making their relationship public and getting publicity, and he thinks that’s what she is doing now.”

While it’s not clear what the truth really is, it takes two to tango.

The sources went on to say that Selena went through the same hate when she was dating Justin Bieber.

“He spoke up on Instagram because the Beliebers were threatening Sofia, writing really horrible things and really racist things,” the source continued. “Whenever he is with any girl, they attack whoever he is with. They did it to Selena for years. Sofia wasn’t used to it and suddenly they all started attacking her, so Justin said something to protect her.”

Given the frenzy that surrounds Justin Bieber, it’s not surprising to see so many haters.

The hate got so intense that Justin Bieber warned his fans he was going to make his Instagram account private.

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that i like,” Bieber posted on Instagram.

Selena Gomez ultimately sided with the haters.

“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you. They were there for you before anyone.”

Do you think Selena Gomez is really doing it for the publicity?

If not the publicity, then is it sheer jealously? There had been reports that Selena Gomez did not like Justin Bieber’s relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. The Inquisitr previously quoted Hollywood Life as saying that Selena Gomez thinks Kourtney Kardashian is a threat to her.

“She sees Kourtney as a threat, but she and Justin have so much history between them,” the insider added. “Selena knows Justin will always pick her in the end.”
