Kourtney Kardashian Hangs With Sofia Richie’s Older Sister After Justin Bieber Romance

Kourtney Kardashian spent time with Nicole Richie over the weekend. Just days after the 37-year-old reality star’s on again, off again flame, Justin Bieber, 22, stepped out with Richie’s younger sister, Sofia, 17, Kardashian shared a photo of herself and Richie hanging out with friend Carlos Eric Lopez on Instagram.

“Kickin it old school,” Kourtney Kardashian captioned the photo on August 21.

Kourtney Kardashian and Nicole Richie have been friends for the past several years, so seeing them together isn’t a huge surprise. Still, with their outing taking place so soon after the singer went public with the much younger Sofia seems a bit strange.

As Hollywood Life pointed out, Kardashian is 20 years older than the singer’s latest love interest, so it appears to be unlikely that she was discussing anything with Richie. That said, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to think that the two women may have been joking about the relationship.

Kourtney Kardashian was first linked to the singer nearly one year ago and up until last month, they appeared to be in an on-and-off relationship. At that time, the alleged couple was seen together in Miami, where Kardashian was vacationing with her kids, and Bieber was performing in a couple of shows as part of his ongoing Purpose World Tour.

While Kourtney Kardashian is believed to be single at the moment, she and her rumored flame have reportedly stayed in contact.

“Even though they don’t see each other that often, Kourtney and Justin still have a tight friendship. She’s always encouraged Justin to take care of himself first and foremost, and if this means taking a break from Instagram, then she fully supports him,” an insider told Hollywood Life last week.

Earlier this month, Bieber deleted his Instagram account after his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, called him out for cheating on her “multiple times” and slammed him for firing back at fans who criticized his relationship with Sofia Richie.

“[Kourtney Kardashian] knows Justin isn’t trying to punish his fans by deleting his account, he’s just trying to do what he thinks is best for his peace of mind. She’s let Justin know that she totally has his back,” the source added.

Kourtney Kardashian’s relationship with Bieber appeared to be confirmed at the end of last year when, after several nightclub outings in Los Angeles, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was spotted making her way out of his hotel suite in the wee hours of the morning. Months later, Kardashian again appeared to be Team Justin when she attended his Purpose World Tour appearance at Los Angeles’ Staples Center in March.

Prior to her alleged romance with the younger singer, Kourtney Kardashian was in a committed relationship with Scott Disick. As fans of the E! reality series will recall, Kardashian dated Disick for nine years before calling it quits due to shocking photos of Disick and his ex-girlfriend vacationing in the South of France. While it was unclear whether or not anything physical happened between Disick and Chloe Bartoli, the photos were enough to send Kardashian over the edge and after years of questionable behavior by Disick, she called off their romance for good.

Despite their breakup, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick remain in close contact for the sake of their three children; Mason, 6, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 1.
