‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Victor Guilty? It’s Not The First Time Kiriakis Abducted A Child
Days Of Our Lives fans are looking forward to Monday when the NBC soap opera will air new episodes. The long-running series has been on hiatus for two weeks due to the 2016 Olympics in Rio. What can viewers expect with the Salem residents? What is going to happen with Victor Kiriakis and Tate’s kidnapping? Is he guilty or has John Aniston’s character been framed?
Days Of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 22 are ahead. If you do not want to know what will happen on the NBC soap opera, then stop reading.

Victor Kiriakis is going to be arrested for conspiracy to kidnap Tate, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Days Of Our Lives fans want to know if he is innocent or guilty. It turns out this was not the first time John Aniston’s character was involved in an abduction.
According to She Knows, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle’s (Martha Madison) daughter, Claire, was kidnapped three times as a child. One of those times, the person responsible was Victor. Angry about the true paternity of Claire, he arranged for Shawn and Belle’s child to be taken from a diner. His goal was to prove that Belle was a negligent parent, much like he wanted to do to Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley).
Even though the NBC preview for Days Of Our Lives shows Victor being arrested for the crime, he may be innocent. Yes, there are a lot of signs pointing to Victor arranging the kidnapping of Tate. However, that is exactly the problem. Victor has been scheming for a long time and isn’t prone to making mistakes. All the signs pointing to Victor’s guilt are too obvious for a man like Kiriakis. It is clear he is being set up.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Jen Lilley even admits that Theresa isn’t sure if Victor is guilty. Even though she wants him punished if he did it, she doesn’t’ know what really happened. She doesn’t want Victor in jail if he is really innocent, even though the two hate each other with a passion.
Motherhood has given Theresa more empathy, but she also feels a lot of guilt for Tate’s kidnapping. She blames herself for allowing the drugs to affect her. She wonders why protecting her child couldn’t override the drug’s effects on her body. Of course, there is nothing Theresa could have done to prevent it. However, as a mother, she still feels responsible for Tate’s kidnapping.
The actress also revealed in the interview that she wonders how the kidnapping will affect Tate. She is concerned if he was traumatized or if he will remember the abduction. Tate is so young that he probably won’t remember a thing, but her worries are typical for any mother that goes through the same thing.
Other DOOL spoilers for the week of August 22 include Victor blaming Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) for his current predicament. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will make a plea with Deimos and the two have a tense encounter with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Also, expect to see the return of three Days Of Our Lives villains. Xander Cook (Paul Tefler), Clyde Weston (James Read), and Orpheus (George DelHoyo) are coming back to Salem to settle some old scores. Fans are worried for Theresa because it appears that Xander strangles the young mother on her wedding day. Will she survive the encounter or will fans be saying goodbye to at least one Salem resident?
