George Clooney Hiding Amal Alamuddin Pregnancy? Couple Secretly ‘Expecting First Child,’ Source Alleges

Could George Clooney be hiding the joyful news of Amal Alamuddin’s pregnancy?

According to a new report, George and Amal are keeping a low profile, and from what has been gathered, it’s all because the British lawyer is pregnant with her first child — something which even took Clooney by surprise.

Celeb Dirty Laundry alleges that the couple has been trying for a baby for some time but, unfortunately, haven’t had much luck in seeing Amal conceive. The 55-year-old, who has rarely spoken about potentially starting a family in interviews, and his stunning wife didn’t give their hopes up, which has allegedly led them to find out they are bound to become parents.

The outlet quotes OK! Magazine, stressing that George is keeping the pregnancy news away from family and friends. Clooney and Amal are the only people who know about it, and it’s going to stay that way — at least for as long as Alamuddin can hide her growing baby bump. But according to a source, friends have already been speculating, considering how overly excited George has been as of late.

“George has been so excited recently he can hardly contain himself. He’s bursting with pride. And his friends say the only thing that could have him so ecstatic would be if he and Amal were finally able to conceive. It’s been a roller coaster of a journey but they’ve stayed strong and positive throughout.”

The source strongly insinuates that George and Amal were pleasantly surprised when hearing that Alamuddin had conceived, and while the news has left them grinning from left to right, the twosome have chosen to keep it to themselves, presumably because Amal’s in an early trimester.

They want to be certain that no complications are going to come their way that could potentially lead to devastating news, and even more heartbreak since everyone would’ve already been aware that Amal was expecting her first child.

“George Clooney is supposedly no longer hesitant about becoming a parent, as he’s apparently looking forward to impending fatherhood and enjoying seeing his wife Amal Alamuddin pregnant,” CDL adds, implying that the couple has been waiting for this moment for quite some time, and now that it is finally happening, they couldn’t be happier.

While George reportedly never saw himself getting married again, Amal changed the actor’s mind when they first met and began dating. And following their lavish wedding out in Italy, with the attendance of Matt Damon and Anna Wintour, Clooney reportedly came to the thought that starting a family was something he really wanted after all.

Earlier this month, it was rumored that George Clooney had wanted Amal to prioritize her law career over potential plans for motherhood, strongly insinuating that he didn’t want to have children. With that in mind, it’s hard to tell whether or not Clooney and Alamuddin are actually having their firstborn, but judging by close friends supposedly being under the impression that Amal is pregnant, does that give enough evidence to believe that George will soon become a father?

What do you think? Will we see George make an outing with his pregnant wife later this year? The couple has yet to comment on reports, claiming they are expecting their first child. But considering the supposed fact that George won’t even tell his family and friends about it, it’s unlikely that he would share the news with the world just yet.
