‘Big Brother 19’ Rumors: Will ‘BB19’ Competitions Be Edited For Live Feeds?
Big Brother 19 rumors were partly addressed by show producer Heath Luman. In regard to the BB19 competitions, Luman took to his Twitter account to speak about an important topic to fans. Luman posted that all BB19 competitions will be shown live. This is something that fans have been clamoring for after a series of competitions on Big Brother 18 were taped and shown to CBS viewers at a later date.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Big Brother 19 will take place entirely online. CBS has decided to use the reality competition show as a way to garner more interest in its online platform. All episodes will be shown on CBS All Access, meaning fans of the show will have to subscribe to view each episode this fall. The other change to the format is that this will be the first fall season of the show, giving Big Brother fans something to look forward to as the months get cooler. Can it be as good as the summer installment CBS shows each year?

These new Big Brother 19 rumors came up after another Head of Household competition for the BB18 cast took place outside of the CBS episodes and while the live feeds were turned off. This has become a sore spot for a lot of online viewers, as the CBS live feeds are advertised as a way for fans to keep up with the show and not miss out on anything. This season, though, fans have missed out on many moments, including both of the most recent HOH competitions. The Black Box HOH competition would have been an exciting one for fans to watch live.
There are still a lot of questions that producers and CBS haven’t addressed about the Big Brother 19 season. A primary concern is what time the episodes or competitions will air online. If the plan is to aim for a primetime hour, then the All Access application could be available at about 8 p.m. ET. That would mean the competition is taking place at 5 p.m. PT, forcing fans on the West Coast to dedicate viewing time earlier in the evening. How will it all work in coordination with the different time zones trying to watch it live?

So what would some of the differences be for viewers? The most important one might be that the BB19 competitions are going to come with a lot of transparency. Every season there are fans that want to peddle conspiracy theories about production interfering with competitions and editing the footage that gets shown on CBS to make some houseguests look better than others. If the entire Big Brother 19 season is out there for the live feed viewers to watch, then fans are going to feel more involved with the fall season. Will it also mean nomination ceremonies are live?

There are still a lot of additional questions about the upcoming season, including who will be a member of the BB19 cast. The show is expected to begin once the season finale for Big Brother 18 airs around the end of September. That gives producers a lot of time to work out the details for the fall installment, with fans hoping that the answers are coming along soon. Heath Luman may need to post on Twitter more regularly, as there are going to be a lot more Big Brother 19 rumors before the season premiere airs on CBS All Access.
