Sean Lowe Is Named The New Bachelor

It looks like Sean Lowe is getting another chance at love as it’s been officially announced that he will be the new Bachelor picking from a crop of women also looking for love. Rumored that one of the choices for the bachelor was Ryan Lochte, Lowe has made it to the end. This is after Lowe, the Dallas-based insurance salesman made it to the final three during The Bachelorette in season 8. This time around it’s Lowe’s turn.

Sean Lowe will take over the show from past bachelor and heartthrob California winemaker Ben Flajnik, who capped off the end of his run with a proposal to model Courtney Robertson during the finale in March. Speaking at a press conference about the announcement, Lowe admitted he was hesitent about finding true love on reality television again, having his doubts Lowe said, “It would be a difficult decision if they were to ask me. Only because it was so emotionally taxing, and you know, I don’t know if I could go through that again.”

Lowe continues about the hard decision he made to make a second round on the series, “But on the flip side of the coin, I understand that the process works — I believe in the process. And ultimately if I were to find my wife, it would certainly all be worth it.”
