Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Head To Oklahoma To Plan Their Christmas Wedding
Gwen Stefani knows how to spend her days off! The singer just took a break from her tour, “This Is What the Truth Feels Like,” and spent the day going hog wild at Blake Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma.
Were they also planning for their rumored Christmas wedding?
According to ET Online, Stefani brought her sons and members of her crew to Shelton’s ranch for a day full of fun and excitement. Stefani wore a pair of camouflage pants and gumboots for the outing and looked like she had a blast.
In fact, Stefani took to social media to share some of the most memorable moments of the day.
“We are here at Snapchat Ranch,” Shelton said in one Snapchat clip.
Some members of the crew decided to do laundry at Shelton’s place, while others relaxed playing pool and hiking throughout the property. Stefani took some time to traverse the ranch on a four-wheeler with her sons in tow. Speaking of her boys, Zuma also enjoyed playing basketball while Apollo got the chance to ride around on Shelton’s tractor.
As far as the country crooner is concerned, he stuck to the kitchen for the most part and prepared a cheese dip for everyone.
A day of rest and relaxation is just what Shelton needed, especially after his latest round of controversy. According to the Daily Mail, Shelton stirred up the waters after he deleted homophobic, sexist, and racist tweets from social media.
While fans were decidedly unhappy with Blake Shelton over the tweets, Stefani didn’t seem to mind his blunder. Instead, the No Doubt frontwoman shared a number of adorable pics with her boyfriend on the ranch.
Clearly, Shelton’s romance with Stefani is stronger than ever, but does that mean a wedding is on the horizon? Despite rumors of a fall ceremony, Rumor Fix is reporting that a wedding is not around the corner. Apparently, an insider revealed that Shelton and Stefani are planning an October wedding with the help of celebrity planner Jerri Woolworth.
“It’s incredibly happy news,” the source explained. “They think it would be cute to walk down the aisle exactly a year after they started dating.”
According to TMZ, Woolworth has extensive experience planning celebrity weddings and other large events.
Woolworth is based out of New York and Tennessee and has planned ceremonies as small as 15 people to as large as 15,000. She has also planned major events for the NFL, NHL, and CMAs.
Unfortunately, neither Shelton nor Stefani have confirmed the rumors of Woolworth’s hiring.
Although fans would be thrilled to see the couple get hitched in a few months, a source revealed to Gossip Cop that the rumors of an October wedding are not true. For now, Shelton and Stefani are not even engaged, let alone preparing for an upcoming wedding.
After Stefani’s day off at Shelton’s ranch, the singer is expected to return to her tour, which is scheduled to last until the end of the month.
With so much on her plate at the moment, it isn’t clear when she will have time to plan a wedding with Shelton. For his part, Shelton is also busy with the new season of The Voice and is expected to start his own tour in the coming months.
Of course, with their romance stronger than ever, it only seems like a matter of time before Shelton pops the big question. The only real questions remaining are when the engagement will happen and how long it will take before Stefani shares the exciting news.
Until then, at least fans can rest assured that Shelton and Stefani are doing just fine.
