Johnny Depp: Amber Heard Charges He Cut Off His Fingertip In A Rage And Did What?

Just when you thought the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard divorce couldn’t get any stranger, it does. Here’s what she said happened, according to a report from TMZ.

Amber has stated several times that Johnny was very jealous and accused her of multiple affairs. Well, in March of 2015, when they had been married only a month, they traveled to Australia. Depp was there to film the most recent Pirates of the Caribbean movie. She alleges that while they were there, he flew into a rage. Johnny accused her of sleeping with Billy Bob Thornton, with whom she had made a movie, as well some other men. Heard denies any of the affairs of which she was accused by Depp.

Drunk as well as high on ecstasy, Johnny started breaking things. Heard testified that Johnny was smashing bottles and breaking windows and that he slammed a plastic phone against the wall unit. In the midst of all this, Depp’s finger got cut — badly. Amber said that he actually cut off some of the tip of his finger. She provided a photo of Johnny’s injury that is an exhibit in her domestic violence case. The photo does show a horrible injury to a finger, along with a swollen knuckle. The rest of Johnny’s hand, as well as his nails, appear to have dark blue paint stains on them.

That’s strange enough, right? Well, there’s more.

Amber is a painter, and she says that, after cutting of the tip of his finger, Johnny went into her painting room and dipped his injured finger in dark blue paint. Depp then proceeded to the bathroom where he wrote “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” on the mirror with his injured finger. She provided a photo of this as well.

Heard further testified that Depp didn’t get medical attention for his finger until almost 24 hours later. This was too late to reattach the tip of it, so they used skin from his hand to sew on a new fingertip.

The Telegraph reports that she also testified that Johnny’s injury delayed filming of the movie for two weeks because he had to fly home to the U.S. to receive medical attention. At the time, the production crew described the injury as “an on-set accident.”

Both Amber and Johnny have indicated they would like to settle their divorce quickly and privately, but that isn’t going to happen with news like this coming out.

This isn’t the first exhibit Heard and her attorneys have provided as proof of Depp’s abuse. Last week, TMZ reported about a video of him in what appeared to be another drunken rage. The video shows a belligerent Johnny throwing a wine bottle and a glass in the kitchen of their home. Amber alleges that the incident occurred months before he hit her on May 21, the argument that prompted her to file for divorce.

In the video, Heard is trying to calm Depp down. She apologizes to him, but the video is heavily edited and doesn’t show what she’s apologizing for. She asks Johnny if he drank a bottle of wine. At one point he tries to take her phone, but fails. Johnny’s attorneys have objected to the video being used as evidence because of the amount of editing that has been done with it. There apparently are also parts of the video in which she is smiling or even encouraging Depp’s behavior. TMZ has sources that tell them the video was a set up by Amber. Its admissibility as evidence is also in question because Depp did not know he was being recorded.

The trial for Heard’s domestic violence case against Johnny Depp is scheduled for Wednesday.
