Louis Tomlinson: Another Reason To Love One Direction’s King

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has an odd relationship with the media. For the most part, it seems that some outlets cannot decide whether to paint Tomlinson as some sort of bad boy or to obsess about Louis’ latest visit to Starbucks.

With One Direction currently enjoying a hiatus, news about Tomlinson is somewhat thin on the ground. As a result, we have seen a lot of speculative stories about Louis, but nothing gets the hacks scribbling more than stories about Tomlinson’s new baby. Ever since the Sun broke the news that Louis was set to become a dad, some sections of the media have been in a feeding frenzy.

Tomlinson has been remarkably tight-lipped about his son, Freddie, and baby mama, Briana Jungwirth. It is perhaps Louis’ silence that has led to a seemingly endless stream of negative stories about the 24-year-old star. The irony is that the more negative Tomlinson’s press, the more he is adored by One Direction fans. It is safe to say that Louis fans are very protective of him and his bandmates, but the fact is that Tomlinson’s fans love him because he has a heart of gold.

Any fan of Tomlinson’s knows all too well that Louis is a massive supporter of charities, especially those that support sick kids and their families. All too often, Louis’ generosity is ignored by all but his fans. However, just last week, the Inquisitr reported on the massive difference he has made to the lives of the families he has supported. The time and money that Louis donates to the charities he is involved with is laudable, but it is the random acts of kindness that make Tomlinson so special in the eyes of One Direction fans.

According to Capital FM, it seems that a lucky fan bumped into Louis in a store and didn’t just grab a hug and the obligatory selfie. Instead, the lucky fan got Louis to write the title of her favorite One Direction song on a piece of paper and then had a copy tattooed on her wrist as a permanent reminder of her encounter.

The fan, who goes by the Twitter handle @halfmoonlouis, was clearly over the moon as she tweeted that she had “rolled and rolled” until she changed her luck. For those who not follow Tomlinson or One Direction closely, the phrase she used is a lyric from the song “Fireproof,” a song many One Direction fans believe is underrated. The song title is now a keepsake that this fan will treasure for the rest of her days. If you don’t know the song, then check it out in the video below. Make no mistake: To One Direction fans, Louis Tomlinson is a prince among men. Of course, fan adoration doesn’t protect Louis from the cycle of rumor and speculation that surrounds his relationship with Briana Jungwirth, Freddie Tomlinson’s mother.

The Mirror picks up on the fact that Jungwirth shared a video on Snapchat in which she was dancing while singing along to a One Direction song. It seems that is sufficient to suggest that Briana and Louis are back on good terms. Of course, both the Mirror and the Daily Mail rehash an old story about Jungwirth lashing out at Tomlinson’s current girlfriend on Twitter. Jungwirth had taken to social media to remind Danielle Campbell that she “will never be her baby son’s mother” after pictures emerged of Louis and Danielle enjoying time at the beach with Freddie.

It seems something of a stretch to suggest that all is well between Tomlinson and Jungwirth just because she listened to a One Direction song. It has been widely reported that Tomlinson is going to court to fight for joint custody of his son. It seems that Briana has been inconsistent in allowing Louis access to his son. That claim at least bears some scrutiny.

Shortly after Freddie’s arrival back in January, Louis was a regular visitor to the house he provides for Jungwirth and his son. In more recent times, Freddie has been transferred to Louis’ care in car parks and even at the side of the road amidst claims that Briana has banned him from her home.

It seems that Louis has been concerned about the number of photographs Briana shares of Freddie on social media, and a spokesperson recently said that Tomlinson was desperate to keep his son away from the prying eyes of the media.

“[Louis wants] Freddie to have a normal, private and protected childhood.

“Louis appreciates, respects and values his relationship with the media and we hope he and his son are afforded the same respect on this matter.”
