Manchester United started their premier league campaign against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday. The Mourinho’s man took a lead with a Juan Mata’s goal after Simon Francis’ horrible back pass kick failed to find the keeper. Manchester United beat Bournemouth 3-1 in an easy match to get their season rolling.
Manchester United took a one-goal cushion going into the second half with a couple of chances in the first half. Manchester United was without the newly signed Juventus Midfielder, Paul Pogba. He missed out his debut because of the yellow card he received in the previous season.
But, Eric Bailly made a prominent start marking his United debut, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic led the attack with Mata, Martial, and Rooney behind him.
Manchester United enjoyed plenty of possession and couple of chances during the second half. Valencia barreled down the right, his cross was mis-hit by Martial, but unmarked Rooney headed and nods the ball home. Zlatan Ibrahimovic took a brilliant free-kick but he was denied his debut goal.

Zlatan, Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba are the latest signings for Manchester United. Eric Bailly was named the man of the match in the community shield win over the Leicester City while Zlatan Ibrahimovic had his moment to cherish, scoring in every game he played in the United shirt.
