‘Teen Mom’ Star Leah Messer Furious Over Follower Calling Ali ‘The Retarded One’

Teen Mom star Leah Messer is very protective of her daughters, especially Ali who has struggled with muscular dystrophy for a long time. When the girls started to learn how to walk, Leah noticed how Ali struggled to walk because her legs were caving in a bit. This was documented on Teen Mom and Messer spent several seasons searching for answers. Eventually, Ali was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, which is a condition that affects her muscle development. Even though she struggled to walk and has even fallen down a few times, she can definitely think and speak for herself. In fact, this little lady is very smart. So it makes sense that Leah is furious when she’s learning what people are saying about her daughter.

According to a new tweet, Teen Mom star Leah Messer recently learned that someone had called Ali “the retarded one” when inquiring about her children. It should be mentioned that Ali has not be diagnosed as mentally disabled and this condition is something that will prevent her from running and perhaps walking one day – but there is nothing wrong with her mentally. So when Messer learned of this comment, she flipped out.

“There is a special place in hell for people like Kyle Snow!! They need attention it seems! #KarmaIsReal #KarmaIsBEAUTIFUL God has a plan for ppl like you!!!!” Leah Messer wrote on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of the commentary, where a person named Kyle Snow asked, “The retarded one?”

Leah’s fans were quick to come to her defense, revealing that people needed to learn more about Ali’s condition before writing hurtful comments like that. And one person did point out that sadly this kind of comment probably wouldn’t be the last.

“Unfortunately probably won’t be the last. We’re all different & unique, but some of our differences u can see on the outside!” one person wrote back to Messer in a tweet, who replied with, “that’s good right? No one wants to be the same? I didn’t think anyways…”

It sounds like Leah Messer wants her daughters to know that they are all very unique and different and therefore very special. And that could help Ali understand why she is the one with muscular dystrophy. Fans who have watched Teen Mom from the beginning understand how much pressure and anxiety this condition has caused, including the simple act of getting a wheelchair for Ali. And this past week, Leah made headlines because United Airlines completely broke the wheelchair during a flight.

“How can you destroy a child’s wheelchair and turn the other cheek! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Now I’m standing @flyohare HOPING I don’t miss my flight. As I am waiting for her wheelchair to be transported to our plane. #why #disappointed,” Leah Messer revealed on Instagram, according to The Hollywood Gossip, sharing a picture of the destroyed wheelchair.

Sadly, not everyone thought that Messer’s way of handling the situation was the right one. Some people thought that she should have contacted customer service rather than blasting the airline on social media. Some people thought that Messer only did it to get special attention.

“Just because you think you’re famous doesn’t mean you’re above everyone, sorry it happened but do you know how many peoples stuff is lost forever or damaged, you’re not the only one nor are you above the rest… It’s a risk everyone takes while flying…like I said no one is perfect, you should know that lesson by now,” one person rudely wrote back to Leah, according to The Hollywood Gossip.
