‘Teen Mom’ Stars Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin At War Over Custody Of Baby Lincoln [Rumor]
In the world of Teen Mom, divorces rarely end without a nasty custody battle.
While many expected the same to hold true after Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin split, it doesn’t look like the Teen Mom couple will go through a drawn out custody battle.
According to Radar Online, Lowry and Marroquin have settled on a custody agreement without the need to go to court.
During their marriage, Marroquin and Lowry had one child together, two-year-old Lincoln.
Lowry has another son, Isaac, from her relationship with Jo Rivera.
“Me and Kail agree to 50/50 with Lincoln,” Marroquin revealed to the outlet. “So every other week I get him.”
The couple announced their plans to divorce at the end of Season 7 of Teen Mom 2.
Marroquin was overseas on deployment when the announcement was made and only recently returned home.
“Seeing the boys was great,” Marroquin admitted. “They are the reason why I do what I do so I’ve been spending any free time with them.”
Marroquin has already moved out of Lowry’s home and is still adjusting to his life as a single father.
“From the move and adjusting to the real world, I’m tired,” he admitted.
Although the Teen Mom stars avoided a nasty custody fight with Lincoln, International Business Times is reporting that the custody agreement with Isaac is a little more complex.
Marroquin, who has become a father-like figure to Isaac, has to split time with both Rivera and Lowry in order to see him.
Meanwhile, Lowry hasn’t been responding well to Marroquin’s exit from her life.
In a series of social media posts, the reality star expressed her sadness following the divorce and Marroquin moving out.
“I think I’m meant to be alone,” she told fans. “If I don’t push someone away, they leave on their own.”
Despite her depressing tone, Kailyn Lowry later assured fans that everything was all right.
“Completely fine and I accept it 100 percent,” she wrote.
For his part, The Hollywood Gossip is reporting that Marroquin is enjoying his life as a new bachelor.
After Marroquin unloaded his things at his new pad, he took to social media to thank friends for their help and support.
“I love my friends man… Really,” he stated. “They keep me sane.”
Clearly, Marroquin is moving forward with his life while Lowry is having difficulty adjusting.
Could the nature of their breakup be one reason why Lowry is currently struggling?
However, according to Movie News Guide, there is a possibility that Lowry’s cheating ways caused the divorce.
Lowry has already admitted that she made plenty of mistakes with Marroquin. While she never revealed the specifics, is it possible that she was unfaithful?
While Marroquin was serving in the Air Force overseas, he suspected that Lowry was romantically involved with someone else. In fact, shortly after their divorce was made public, Lowry was spotted kissing one of her lesbian friends.
Lowry has since denied the cheating rumors and claims that she is not romantically involved with another woman. Even still, she has shown no outward signs of trying to repair her broken marriage and Marroquin still has his suspicions. That being said, neither party has revealed the truth about the cheating allegations.
