‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Star Evan Bass Plots To Break Up Josh Murray And Amanda Stanton
Evan Bass is about to make some waves on Bachelor in Paradise.
After Carly Waddell gave Bass the boot in the last episode, the former Bachelorette suitor is planning on making a move on Amanda Stanton.
Will Bass get between Stanton’s romance with Josh Murray?
Unfortunately for Bass, his timing isn’t all that great.
According to USA Today, Bass attempts to win Stanton over while she’s locking lips with Murray on the beach.
Bass even made fun of his awkward timing on Twitter, saying: “If you haven’t ever walked up to a girl while she’s making out with another guy and tried to steal her. You haven’t lived.”
Despite the bad odds, Bass was optimistic that his plan to break up Murray and Stanton will work.
“I know she’s with Josh right now,” Bass told fans at the end of the last installment. “But, I want to do something where it’s like, ‘Hey, here I am.’ Maybe there’s something inside of you that says, ‘I really like this guy.'”
Part of Bass’s plan includes sharing some of Murray’s shady past with Stanton.
As fans may recall, Murray’s ex-girlfriend, Andi Dorfman, recently wrote a tell-all book about their troubled relationship.
Dorfman claims that Murray was verbally and physically abusive, two things that Bass plans to reveal to Stanton.
Of course, Murray doesn’t take kindly to Bass’s negative comments.
In the preview clip for the coming episode, Murray confronts Bass about the rumors.
“I would appreciate it if you would come to me and talked to me about it,” Murray tells him.
“I want to make sure that she was careful,” Bass replied, adding to the audience, “This guy’s gonna just explode.”
Bass’s plot to sabotage Murray follows his failed attempts to get with Waddell on Bachelor in Paradise.
According to People, Bass’s romance with Waddell seemed promising at first. However, things took a turn for the worse after they shared their first kiss.
“I just want to kiss you some more and more,” Bass told Waddell. “It was butterflies and explosions. It was a perfect kiss.”
Unfortunately, Waddell had a very different opinion about the kiss.
“That kiss was so terrible,” she later told cameras.
Waddell didn’t stop there.
In addition to the kissing comment, Wet Paint is reporting that Waddell also hit on Bass’s ability to have children.
“I don’t understand how this man has two children,” she told cameras.
Although Waddell wasn’t afraid to share her thoughts about Bass on the show, she later regretted some of the things she said.
“Man, at the time I thought I was funny about the date w/ @ebassclinics,” she wrote on Twitter. “But in retrospect more asshole than funny.”
Meanwhile, Murray has his hands full when it comes to winning over Stanton’s heart. Not only does he have to fight off Bass, but he is also at odds with Nick Viall.
In fact, Us Magazine is reporting that Viall actually got to Stanton first and even made out with her by the bonfire before Murray arrived on the set.
Viall’s romance with Stanton was cut short after Murray got in the competition, but that didn’t stop Viall from voicing his opinion about Murray’s shady past.
“Some of the stuff that’s written about Josh is pretty aggressive and a little disturbing,” Viall said. “I’ve never seen someone so unapologetic for being an ass for no reason.”
Murray has since opened up about Dorfman’s allegations and claims that nothing in her book is true.
“It was so hard, she has not-so-kind things to say, it’s very unfortunate that she would depict me in such a false way,” he shared.
Fans can watch Bass try to break up Murray and Stanton when new episodes of Bachelor in Paradise air Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.
