‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6 Synopsis: Emma’s Secret Has Consequences For Loved Ones? Aladdin Helps ‘OUAT’ Savior [Spoilers]

Once Upon A Time Season 6 will premiere on ABC in just over one month. Fans are anxious to find out what will happen with the Storybrooke characters. The synopsis for the upcoming season of OUAT has finally been released. It reveals that Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) will discover a secret that could have consequences for those she cares about. Someone will come to help her, but will they be successful?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, when OUAT returns next month, expect a lot of new characters as well as some familiar faces. It was also revealed that the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) will not only try to destroy everyone in Storybrooke physically, but will be doing a lot of mental manipulation as well. What else is in store for Once Upon A Time fans?

Recently, it was reported that Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) will have some secrets from his past revealed. It turns out he isn’t the only one. According to the Season 6 synopsis, posted by Entertainment Weekly, Emma Swan will also have a secret exposed. However, it appears that the discovery is just as shocking to Emma as it is to everyone else. Wait, there is more. Not only does the main character have to deal with this unearthed secret, but it could have devastating consequences for her loved ones. That certainly does not sound good.

The Once Upon A Time Season 6 synopsis also teased that Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) may be able to help Emma with her problem. This is a bit surprising since in the Comic-Con trailer, Aladdin was so weak that it looked like he was the one that needed help.

Other OUAT spoilers revealed in the synopsis include the Evil Queen trying to destroy everything and Regina discovering stopping her will be difficult. Henry (Jared Gilmore) will welcome the characters from the Land Of Untold Stories and vow to help them. However, assisting them causes Hook, Regina, Zelena (Rebecca Mader), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin), and Charming (Josh Dallas) to get entwined in their stories. Meanwhile, the Storybrooke residents will be haunted by their own incomplete pasts.

In Once Upon A Time Season 6, also expect Rumple (Robert Carlyle) to work on waking Belle (Emilie de Ravin) after giving Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) Storybrooke. When it comes to “Rumbelle,” don’t expect de Ravin’s character to forgive and forget as easily this time around. The actress teased to Entertainment Weekly that Belle will be more independent and confident when OUAT returns. Her past will be revealed, which might be a result of Morpheus (Giles Matthey).

One other relationship in the fairy tale drama is Hook and Emma. Colin O’Donoghue was asked if a wedding should be expected in Season 6. As Once Upon A Time fans can see in the video below, the actor explained that the wedding dress seen last season was not a hint. Apparently, it has always been around and O’Donoghue didn’t even think it was a wedding dress. As for Hook’s secrets, it won’t affect their romance. It was teased at Comic-Con that Hook and Emma’s relationship will strengthen in Season 6, not the other way around.
