‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Season 2 Return: What Has Nick Done Now To Put Himself In Grave Danger, Could Drugs Be Involved?

As the Season 2 return of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead approaches, fans are getting a flurry of new information about what to expect when the show returns on August 21. The latest item is a new teaser video showing that Nick may be in grave danger from the new group he meets in Tijuana.

Yesterday, fans of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead got to see brand new photo stills from the Season 2 return. Today, TVGuide has released an exclusive video detailing what will happen in the Season 2 return of Fear The Walking Dead. Most concerning, however, is a scuffle involving Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) and Luciana’s group, who he meets up with in Tijuana.

From previous videos about the Season 2 return of Fear, we know that Nick will meet up with Luciana’s group at some point. It was assumed Nick will assimilate into this new group quite nicely as they also seem to worship the infected in a similar way to how Celia Flores (Marlene Forte) did in the first half of Season 2. But the latest teaser video shows Nick being held down by a member of the group and Luciana shouting at him, “What did you do?”

An image then shows what appears to be Nick running through the scrub while a man shoots at him. While previous video has shown an injured Nick being attended to by what was assumed is Luciana’s group, this is now brought into question with the latest teaser from TVGuide. Perhaps it is Luciana’s group that shoots Nick and he finds another group that helps him out? Interesting to note is that one of the image stills from the Season 2 return of Fear the Walking Dead released yesterday shows Luciana with a set of binoculars. She is standing next to two other men — one of which looks very similar to the one chasing Nick through the scrub. Could they be searching for Nick after what ever he did to upset them?

Considering Nick is a junkie only just withdrawing thanks to the zombie apocalypse, could drugs somehow be involved? Perhaps Nick stole drugs from this new group and they found out? Then, just to make everything even more confusing, further on, the teaser video shows Nick and Luciana kissing. So, just what will happen to Nick in the Season 2 return of Fear? Only by tuning into Fear the Walking Dead on August 21 will reveal all.

The video also shows Victor Strand (Colman Domingo), Madison (Kim Dickens), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), and Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) in some serious trouble while in the huge hotel they chose for shelter in the Season 2 return of Fear the Walking Dead. The video clip shows a large group of the infected crowded around a bar in the hotel. Strand and Madison are on the inside with what looks like no way out. Fans will know from a previous Season 2 teaser video that Strand and Madison’s group meet up with others in the hotel. So, hopefully, this group of people step in and help rescue the group. If not, Alicia and Ofelia are absent from this shot, so perhaps they step up to the plate and help rescue Strand and Madison in the Season 2 return?
