Blake Shelton’s romance with Gwen Stefani is hotter than ever, but are they going to exchange vows soon?
Some sources indicate that wedding bells are right around the corner, while others say a walk down the aisle will not happen anytime soon.
According to Hollywood Life , the singers have hired Jerri Woolworth, a celebrity wedding planner with a lot of experience, to handle the ceremony.
Woolworth has planned a number of different celebrity weddings over the years. In fact, TMZ is reporting that she is based out of New York and Tennessee and typically works with events as small as 15 people to as large as 15,000.
She has also planned events for major organizations, like the NFL, NHL, and the CMAs.
Sadly, Woolworth has not commented on the matter.
Despite their preparations, it doesn’t sound like the ceremony will take place in the near future.
After all, Stefani is currently on tour, which doesn’t end until later this month.
Shelton is busy working on the new season of The Voice , which doesn’t give them a large window for the wedding.
“Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, but Gwen is touring and busy,” an inside source explained to People . “The time just hasn’t been right.
The source added that Shelton’s relationship with Stefani is “serious” and they envision a “long-term future together.”
With their schedules so busy, the couple have “no immediate” plans to tie the knot, which pushes the potential date for the union back even further.
Meanwhile, it’s already been one year since Shelton and Stefani separated from their respective spouses, and they couldn’t be happier with how things turned out.
As far as Blake Shelton is concerned, he had a rough time breaking up with Miranda Lambert. However, the country crooner’s life has only improved since he started seeing Stefani.
“The divorce had its place in Blake’s life, but he doesn’t dwell on it,” a source explained. “He’s in a better place now, and he’s very grateful for everything that’s happened. He’s come out of this a better person and a happier person.”
Shelton divorced Lambert last summer after four years of marriage. The pair did not have any children together.
If Shelton marries Stefani, it will be his third time getting hitched. The country star was first married to Kaynette Gern, whom he divorced in 2006.
For Stefani, meeting Shelton helped deal with the difficult divorce from Gavin Rossdale .
“Before dating Blake, Gwen seemed lost. She had the roughest time with her divorce, but they almost rescued each other. Their relationship is almost too good to be true,” the source said.
Stefani was married to Rossdale for over 13 years and had three children with him, including Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
With their relationship headed in the right direction, it looks like Shelton and Stefani’s wedding is going to happen, but not until 2017 at the earliest.
According to Movie News Guide , the wedding will not be a small, private affair, even if it doesn’t happen for another year.
Instead, fans can expect the couple to put on a lavish ceremony that will include a few top-notch celebrities.
While nothing has been confirmed, Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, and Liam Hemsworth are all expected to attend.
Unfortunately, an official wedding date has not been announced, and neither Shelton nor Stefani has discussed their plans for the wedding.
Until more information is revealed, fans can rest assured that Shelton and Stefani are at least thinking about their future together. Once their schedules settle down, it won’t be long before the wedding bells ring.
