Pregnant ‘Teen Mom 2’ Chelsea Houska Celebrates Her Bridal Shower, Shares Sweet Moment With Cole DeBoer

Chelsea Houska and her family enjoyed a weekend bridal shower on Sunday.

As the Teen Mom 2 star and her fiancé, Cole DeBoer, prepare to tie the knot in the upcoming months, the pregnant reality star chronicled a couple of moments from her shower with her fans on Instagram.

“My sweet girl,” Chelsea Houska wrote in the caption of a photo of herself and Aubree on Instagram on August 7.

While it wasn’t initially revealed whether or not Chelsea Houska was celebrating her bridal shower or her baby shower on Sunday, MTV News has since confirmed the event was in honor of Houska’s upcoming wedding to Cole DeBoer.

Because Chelsea Houska and her family are currently in production on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2, it is possible that her baby shower will be seen. Although Chelsea Houska has made it clear that her wedding will not air on the MTV reality series, she will likely include several of her pre-wedding events, as well as photos from her party.

“Our wedding is just something so personal and we’re having a small intimate wedding and it just didn’t feel right just for us to have it aired to millions of people,” Chelsea Houska revealed during a chat with Wetpaint Entertainment in March. “Even though I appreciate the support and I’m so grateful for everyone who is so happy for us, people will be able to see the planning and pictures and stuff like that so I’m not leaving them with nothing.”

Last month, as her wedding preparations continued, Chelsea Houska shocked fans when she revealed she was expecting her second child, the first child for DeBoer, on Instagram and her official website. In a statement to fans, Chelsea Houska revealed her son or daughter was due sometime in February of next year and promised to chronicle her pregnancy journey in future posts. Weeks later, she shared a funny moment with DeBoer with fans online.

On Twitter on August 6, Chelsea Houska revealed her fiancé had woken her up on Saturday morning and asked, “Babe, I was gonna surprise you with breakfast, but I wasn’t sure if u could have cheese in ur eggs when ur pregnant.”

Chelsea Houska has been starring on Teen Mom 2 for the past several years, and according to her father, her reality television career may soon come to an end.

“She doesn’t want [the wedding] taped. She doesn’t want it on TV,” Randy said about her upcoming wedding during an interview on the Denist, Implants and Worms podcast, via In Touch Weekly. “She doesn’t need it paid for. I was very proud that she grew the b***s to say no. They’ll go to the bachelorette party and stuff [to film], but for the wedding she agreed that she’ll send a bunch of professional still photos [to them to use for the show].”

Chelsea Houska’s ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind, the father of her daughter Aubree, announced during the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 reunion special that he would not be answering any questions regarding his time on the show, nor would he be participating in any further seasons of the show. However, as The Ashley’s Reality Roundup revealed several weeks later, Lind has since returned to filming on the show.

According to the outlet, Chelsea Houska and her co-stars, Lind included, are currently filming Season 7B, a continuation of the recently aired Season 7, which will likely be aired later this year or early next year.
