Drake Admits He’s ‘Got Love’ For Rihanna After Secret Midnight Date

Drake certainly isn’t afraid to make his feelings for Rihanna known amid reports that that the two are officially dating again.

After weeks of rumors suggesting that Drake and Rihanna are back on, Drake made a very public declaration of love for his girl during a New York concert.

According to Page Six, Drake gushed over the “This Is What You Came For” singer during one of his “Summer Sixteen Tour” stops at New York’s Madison Square Garden, very publicly telling concert goers that he’s “got love” for Rihanna before launching into their collaborations, “Work,” “Take Care,” and “Too Good.”

The site revealed that Drake certainly wasn’t shy when it came to addressing his rumored reconciliation with Rihanna, teasing, “If you’ve got love for Rihanna in New York City… because you know I’ve got love for Rihanna.”

“When Drake slipped in the fact that he has love for Rihanna last night gave me so much life,” Twitter user @karisanperez wrote on social media and @skaijackson tweeted, “Rihanna and Drake are goals.”

Drake’s big on-stage declaration of love for Rihanna comes just days after the twosome seriously heated things up amid the dating rumors, getting pretty cozy when they hit the stage together for a performance at OVO Fest in Toronto, Canada.

Capital Extra reported that Drake and Rihanna were seriously flirty while performing their big hits like “Work” and “Too Close.” The outlet even reported that Drake spoke to the crowd about the two dating and having a baby in the not too distant future.

“You showed up two nights in a row for my city, you might have to go half on a baby,” fan-captured video showed Drake telling Rihanna on the Canadian stage shortly before Rihanna referred to her collaborator as “baby.”

But the gushing didn’t stop there.

Drake then continued to gush over Rihanna as the dating rumors continued to swirl, telling the audience at the festival, “Y’all better make some motherf****** noise for Rihanna one time,” before referring to her as being “the greatest entertainer in the world” and telling the star that she was “looking good.”

But despite their on-stage love fest, E! News claimed last week that the two are dating, but Rihanna is actually still reluctant to settle down with Drake and put a label on their relationship.

“Drake has expressed to Rihanna that he only wants to date her and only her, but she wants to take day by day this time around,” a source close to the twosome revealed amid the rampant dating reports. “Drake would make her his girlfriend in a second if he could.”

And it sounds like Drake is doing all he can to make Rihanna his official girlfriend, as his New York declaration of love comes just days after Lainey Gossip reported that he hired out an entire aquarium after-hours to surprise the star.

The site alleged that Drake hired out Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto, Canada, while he and Rihanna were together in Canada last week, treating his girl to a romantic date at midnight that allegedly lasted until “just before dawn.”

“[Drake] booked out the place after midnight and had them set up a fancy dinner right in front of the glass,” a source told the site of Drake’s seriously romantic date night gesture, describing Drake and Rihanna’s date as “romance by fishtank light.”
