Lana Del Rey’s ‘Boyfriend’ Makes First Feature Film About His Mom, Franca Sozzani
It has been a long time since Lana Del Rey updated fans on her relationship status, and many assume that it could be “complicated.”
However, perhaps part of the reason that Lana Del Rey’s last boyfriend has been distant is because his mother, fashion magazine editing superstar, Franca Sozzani, has had a biopic made about her life that he did himself.
While Lana Del Rey has been flying around the world for her unofficial 2016 festival tour, there have been very few updates about what her alleged boyfriend, Francesco Carrozzini, is up to.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Lana Del Rey has not officially confirmed that she has broken up with her boyfriend, Francesco Carrozzini. Several fans also posted online that they saw Lana Del Rey around March 2016, and she said she was still together with Francesco.
However, fans have been wondering what he is up to especially since Lana Del Rey has been quiet about him in interviews, and Francesco Carrozzini himself has very few new updates online.
After disappearing temporarily from the media, Francesco Carrozzini is back — and he has his mother on his mind. A woman like no other, Francesco Carrozzini’s mom has been the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia since 1988 and has contributed to a long list of fashion projects, according to Business of Fashion.
Now, in his first feature film, Francesco Carrozzini is releasing a biopic about his mother and her outstanding career in Italy as a fashion editor called Franca: Chaos and Creation.
WWD writes on July 29 that Franca will be shown at the Venice Film Festival and that Francesco Carrozzini “drew a personal, emotional portrait of his mother and her creative work.” Franca also includes interviews with celebrities such as Courtney Love and Karl Lagerfeld.
The movie has been Francesco Carrozzini’s primary project for several months, and on Instagram Francesco Carrozzini was proud to announce that he has been hanging out with celebrities like Wiz Khalifa and Al Pacino — but no mentions of Lana Del Rey exist.
What fans can decipher from Francesco Carrozzini is that he is no longer in Italy filming his mother, but is now back in America. Does this mean more Lana Del Rey and Francesco pics are coming — or will fans see them with everyone except each other?
Thankfully, one positive clue emerged on August 7 when Francesco Carrozzini posted a picture of himself … and there is a palm tree in the photo. Unless there are palm trees in NYC, it can be speculated that Francesco Carrozzini might be near Lana Del Rey’s home in Orange County.
A second positive clue is that Francesco Carrozzini tagged a post on Instagram from August 6 with Los Angeles.
While fans are left to speculate on their relationship status, Lana Del Rey is finally giving her fans what they want in the form of peformances in America.
Fans were concerned that Lana Del Rey would be avoiding North America, but her recent concerts at Lollapalooza 25 and Osheaga in Montreal have LDR fans on Twitter excited.
In particular, many of Lana Del Rey’s fans have been excited about the fact she has started “twerking” on stage with her new backup singers.
Lana Del Rey will be performing next on August 7 at the Outside Lands festival at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. ABC 7 says that police have increased their patrols due to the influx of fans, and Lana Del Rey can expect “tens of thousands” of festival-goers.
This means Lana Del Rey will not need to worry about getting attacked by fans because, in addition to uniformed officers, there will be many plainsclothes police working to increase security at Outside Lands.
