Last season on OUAT, Regina Mills (Lana Parrilla) decided to fully separate herself from her alter ego, the Evil Queen. However, something went wrong and the villain managed to survive. Instead of Regina and the Evil Queen being part of each other, they are two completely separate people. What that means is the Evil Queen no longer has Regina’s morality to hold her back from doing horrible things. The Evil Queen is determined to wreak havoc on Storybrooke and many Once Upon A Time fans wonder if a major character will die as a result.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Evil Queen has something besides murder on her mind.
“She’s going after everybody. She’s taking no prisoners,” Josh Dallas, who plays Charming on OUAT told EW. “She’s really doing some mental manipulation with everybody, and it’s going to turn everybody inside of themselves. They’re going to have a lot internally to deal with.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it isn’t just Regina Mills that is going to be dealing with the dark part of herself. The other residents in Storybrooke will be going through the same thing. Of course, Lana Parrilla’s character will be dealing with it literally while the other characters will be going through it in a different sense.
In a separate report from Entertainment Weekly, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis teased that fans will find out what happens when someone separates a part of themselves. The Once Upon A Time executive producers added the question of whether it can really be done and if so, should it even be attempted. Some fans speculated that since the negative alter ego was out of Regina, that she would be left too soft. Viewers wondered if Parrilla’s character would no longer have her spunk, determination, or the will to fight the Evil Queen.

However, Lana herself squashed this theory. On her official Facebook page, the actress posted a video of herself learning how to sword fight. Parrilla also wanted fans to know that in Once Upon A Time Season 6, Regina would not lose her sarcasm and that she would still be the character viewers remembered.
Other OUAT spoilers for the upcoming season include Colin O’Donoghue and Jennifer Morrison’s characters, Hook and Emma, to have a stronger relationship. Even though they will get closer, don’t expect a fairy tale wedding, at least not yet. At Comic-Con 2016, O’Donoghue said that the wedding dress seen in Season 5 was not a clue. The actor claimed it had always been a prop and didn’t even believe it was a bridal dress.
Also, new characters are coming to Storybrooke. Expect to see Sinbad, Scheherazade, the Count of Monte Cristo (Craig Horner), Morpheus (Giles Matthey), Jafar (Oded Fehr), Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), Jasmine (Karen David), and more. There will also be some familiar faces returning in Once Upon A Time Season 6. Those include Cinderella (Jessy Schram), Lily (Agnes Bruckner), and Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten).
What do you think is going to happen with the Evil Queen? Will Lana Parrilla’s character murder a Storybrooke resident? Or is mental manipulation much worse?
Once Upon A Time Season 6 premieres on September 25.
